Our family loves the Barnstormers games! It's fun and affordable for all ages. The best part is the kiddie area where our kids can ride the merry-go-round (small fee) or play on the jungle gym when they can't sit still. Fireworks after the game on Friday and Saturday nights are always worth it. You can get a great seat, or bring a blanket and sit in the field. Food is a little pricey, but that is expected anytime you go out. So glad this stadium was built in Lancaster!

Growing up in Lancaster, Clipper Stadium and the Barnstormers didn't exist. Shame really, because what a great experience it is.
You come for the baseball or, in my case this time, an NFL charity softball event and you realize that it isn't just about the game, it's a great experience.
Reasonably priced, great seats and great food! If the kids are anxious, take them to the playground for a bit. Don't want to sit in a stadium seat? Then grab a spot in the lawn and view the game from the outfield.
It's an inexpensive minor-league alternative to traveling to Baltimore or Philly and just as fun!

I chaperoned a school field trip which had about 60 second graders attending a Barnstormer game. Every seat gives you a great view of the field. And, as we've learned is typical of minor-league baseball teams, there is much entertainment to be found between innings and/or when the action is slow.

Looking forward to returning with our whole family!

we went there for fathers day for my girls dad. i am not a baseball fan at all but it was enjoyable in between every inning there is some thing going on in the field but it was hard to understand what was being said. but aside from that the seats are big enough the food is a bit pricey but after all it is a stadium there is an area for the kids to play plus you can buy an even cheaper ticket to sit on the grass on a hill overlooking the outfield. its a good time and plenty of parking and after the game a gate is open so you can exit closer to teh parking lot near the outfield.

My son moved and is now working in Lancaster. We are about an hour away in southern York County and decided to do some fun things in Lancaster while visiting. We now have seen a few Barnstormer games. First experience was great. Nice, friendly small hometown ball park was enjoyable. The one thing that impressed me was the "FREE" parking. Who else gives free parking? Well, our first game, the stadium was about 1/2 full and we parked close and it was no problem getting out. Our last visit on the 4th of July, the stadium was crowded and we had to park fairly far away at the back parking lot. BIG problem getting out. Just a nightmare. NO FUN. I would gladly PAY for parking if the extra cost would provided security and parking control personnel. I will gladly attend another game but hopefully getting out of the parking lot will be easier.
