We spent one night at the Eden resort. The hotel was very crowded and had at least two wedding going on. We had to wait to check in and there was a problem with the name my reservation was under and we had to wait for them to figure it all out. the employee was trying to tell me that we didn't have a reservation, but I had the conformation in my hand. Eventually it was all figured out. Our room was on the third floor in the adult area. Strangely enough, we get off the elevator and there is a couple with two kids waiting to get on. We went to the restaurant and bar in the hotel and they were both very good. Our bartender and our waitress Paula were excellent. They have a dinner buffet or menu items. Very nice and I would recommend eating there. I would return after the summer, when things are quieter.

I have no idea how they do it. For the AAA rate of $125, we got:

IMMACULATELY clean property. Not a crumb or stray dust mite anywhere.

Lovely lobby with friendly and efficient staff.

Beautiful room with really nice furniture, crown holdings, upscale bath features.

Free WiFi with great speed and strong signal.

Fantastic HD LG TV's with almost 50 crystal clear channels with perfect color and clarity.

HVAC that is accurate, powerful and QUIET.

Sublime comfortable beds with high thread count linens.

An iHome clock radio with great sound, legible display, an iPod port, and programming that even your mother in law could figure out.

Restaurant with great food, friendly service and surprisingly reasonable prices.

The blow-away feature? A TV remote that was SANITIZED and placed in a wrapper. I have never seen anything like this at a Ritz, Fairmont or Four Seasons. Incredible.

We took our 2 young daughters here (1 & 3) after spending the day at Dutch Wonderland. It was perfect. The room was clean and modern. The highlight of the hotel was the awesome pool area and playground. It's great for kids of all ages. The complimentary ice cream/ice pop cart in the afternoon was also a nice treat.

This property is beautiful, well kept, constantly updated. Every time I stay there I notice something else they have upgraded. The staff is stellar! I host an event here once a year, this was our 7th year, and I stay here at least one other time every year. I have stayed in the suites in the main building and the Villa suites. Everywhere I have been in the hotel the decor is lovely and current, everything is clean, the rooms are large and well appointed. All suites have, at the very least, mini fridges & microwaves. Some of the Villa suites have full kitchens. The staff is friendly and more than willing to work with you to make sure you have what you need. Both pools are large and in attractive settings and the indoor pool has a hot tub. The exercise room next to the indoor pool has a sauna! If you are tired and don't want to go out there are two reasonably priced restaurants in the hotel, as well as a bar. Food is good. Breakfast buffet is great! If you are staying over ask to purchase the discounted breakfast buffet tickets. This hotel is centrally located in Lancaster and right off an exit from Rt 30. A gas station with mini mart are adjacent to the property in case you want to purchase snacks for your room. Can't say enough good things about Eden Resort!

Room Tip: The hotel is right off of a highway but I have never noticed or been disturbed by highway noise. If...

I've heard a lot about this hotel from others. We liked the pools and activities on the property. Being able to order food poolside was nice. The room was clean and I liked having a walk in shower. However, if you get a room facing route 30 you can hear the traffic. Also, the A/C was a little noisy for us. Overall it was a good stay, however I wouldn't say it was luxury. It was about equivalant to other midrange hotels such as courtyard. Also it is not worth the higher prices at peak vacation times. Our friend stayed here the week prior and had a suite for the same price as our single room. The suite would have been worth it.

Immaculate rooms with comfy beds, lots of amenities and very useful room/bathroom/room suites. Grrreat buffet breakfast--sign up in advance for a cheaper price. And while they seem to want a 200-character minimum for this review, I've said everything important. The BWE looks nice from the outside, and it's right on the Oregon Tpke, so it's an easy hop to Lancaster.

We just completed a 3 night stay in a villa studio suite. The hotel was booked solid, which made for a wait at check in, but the location of the villas keeps you away from hubbub. The room is spacious with a full kitchen, and is very close to the "family section" - outdoor pool, kids' zone sprinklers and playground. There were a few minor issues with room keys and overbooking, but all were fixed quickly and we were given meal vouchers as a perk. One caveat-the restaurant, Garfield's, is acceptable for room and poolside delivery, but horrifying food awaits he who risks eating there! Simply awful. Overall, a nice hotel for families.
