A little off the beaten path this small hotel has everything you need and expect from a Hilton hotel. The staff at the front desk is very friendly, the decor is sophisticated but yet fresh and modern. The hotel is quiet and has plenty of free parking. Great visit close to Amish country, outlet shopping and Hershey park. The housekeepers do a great job with cleaning as the room was spotless upon arrival. Food in breakfast/social goes very fast so eat early if you can. Only negative was suite shop, very pricey and not much of a selection but Turkey Hill convenience store within walking distance so all is not lost. Will definitely go back if I have a chance.

The original room we were assigned was musty and when we said something to staff he said it was because “JEWS WERE THE LAST GUESTS” and “did we want it sprayed”. Manager was apologetic (even offered some free points) but message to Homewood corporate site got generic response. Obviously Homewood doesn’t think anti - semitism if staff is a big issue. Only reason didn’t walk right out was because don and granddaughter also coming to stay with us and too hard to make new arrangements.

We purposely booked a two room suite as we have two young children (ages two and four) and wanted to have sleeping early. When we got here they told us there was a "computer error" and our room was not available. Eventually I was told they overbook and normally this does not become an issue (I guess they rely on people not showing up?). The front desk tried to accommodate us by giving us a second suite at no charge, there was one catch. It was across the hall! In what world would we put our kids across the hall? We politely declined and took what they gave us which was a smaller room with the kinds on top of us. So thanks to Hilton's greed (by double booking if one party doesn't show up they still get to charge them, making extra money) we get to have two kids completely off schedule.

Thanks for throwing our kids off schedule!

Room tip: Make sure to check in early so if they overbook you get the room you requested.

Nice hotel located about 10-15 minutes from Lancaster's downtown and outlets but very easy direct drive unless you catch rush hour. Typical Homewood Suites breakfast in the morning never crowded but we were there early same with evening social which included free wine and beer. I stay at this brand a lot and I would say the evening social here is not as strong on variety and options as others I have stayed at but included in room price so can't complain. Had a double queen on the first floor close to pool, which was nice but cloudy two of the days we were there. They were trying to get it cleared. Fitness room is limited but equipment worked, a stationery bike would be a great addition. Overall great stay would stay there again if in the area.

Room tip: We were on first floor near pool not noisy and easy to get to everything
