While vacationing in December we decided to take our kids snow tubing. We went to jack frost first but then were told the snow tubes were closed and we needed to go to big boulder. The day before had snowed about two inches and they were calling for more. When we got there we purchased face snuggles since the temperature was in the low 20's but feel was like single digits. We purchased the three hour ticket (I thought you could go at anytime but its set times 10-1, 1-4 etc). We waited in the very tiny snack shop you could barely move and since it was really cold outside it was packed, we purchased some hamburgers that they were grilling outside, they were okay not great and too expensive. I would bring snacks next time. When it was time we got our tubes and got on the conveyor carpet that took us up the hill the kids thought that was awesome. There was four lanes to choose from. We first went down together and it was great we flew down, it took us 25 minutes to get to go again after the ride up and standing in line at the top. We decided to go down separately at this time it had started snowing really hard and you couldn't even see in front of your face. We each got stuck and had to get up and run to get going again. We all went up again about same amount of time to get to go again people were getting stuck in the lanes at this point so we decided to tie together again, didn't work we got stuck like three times and one of us would run and push we finally got out and walked to end. It was still snowing pretty hard and kids were cold so we decided to leave. I think the fresh snow slowed down the slopes if it wasn't for that we would have stayed longer.
