“This restaurant actually turned down the air conditioning when asked!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

We went to the Twin River Diner for dinner tonight. They had a good selection of food and good prices. The four of us enjoyed our dinners.

We were very cold and asked our very pleasant server, John, if the air conditioning could be turned down. I fully expected the typical response "we can't do anything about it". The air was turned down and the nearby fan turned off.

You walk through a gift shop on the way to the restaurant. It had lots of interesting country type signs and such. Enjoyed our visit.

“Tasty and convenient”

Found this diner next to our hotel. Great service and decent food. The food wasn't spectacular but it was a good value for the money and it filled the empty spot in our bellies.

“Consistent Great Tasting Homestyle Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

We have eaten at Twin Rocks for many years. The food has never changed, its always good. It is a truck stop, but doesn't appear to be one, it has more of a restaurant look. The prices are reasonable, very nice Senior's Menu, and personable servers. The Dining room area is inviting, with comfortable seating. There is also a separate dining room, which could be used for private parties, as well as the more "diner style" eating area. Since we live close by, we have eaten there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never been disappointed. They also have a nice little gift shop upon entering the restaurant. I can vouch for the ladies room only! It is large and always clean. If you are traveling, it is right off Interstate 84, easy on and off. It is located between the villages of Hamlin, to the north, and Newfoundland, to the south.

“Amazing Pork Chops- Locally-Bought Meats”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

Having learned that the meats are locally-bought, it is no wonder the pork chops were so tender and flavorful. Really great portion size, grilled sauerkraut and coleslaw all very fresh. I was impressed. Friendly and welcoming, attentive service. Wonderful desserts and found a great price on a country cabin style, stretched canvas decor item in the gift shop area. Very clean and comfortable. Hours are great too, 6 am to 10 pm. Dependable, reliable, friendly and affordable. Supporting the local economy by buying local means a great deal.
