We visit Peddler's Village several times a year, and we usually end up at Hart's Tavern. There's always a line waiting to get in, but it always seems to move quickly. This past visit was no exception, and while the atmosphere seems so frenzied when you get past the front door, the meal is always relaxing and enjoyable. Last weekend, our waiter Jeff was very attentive and checked back with us often. We had a late lunch and all 3 of us enjoyed our meal as always, along with a couple of beers on tap. It's a great place to relax and rest up from walking and shopping before heading out for another round. It's a top notch bar in my book.

We stopped at the tavern last night for a quick bite after being walking in the village for a while. We were greeted and seated promptly and staff was very nice. My wife ordered the corn chowder and it was outstanding. I ordered the pulled pork sliders and was pleasently surprise with how good they were. Prices were very reasonable. This is a place to go. We will definitevely go back with the entire family. By the way, Melissa, our waitress, was amazing. Great job!!

The Tavern is actually connected to the Cock and Bull Restaurant but has it's own separate side entrance. The menu selection is relatively short but the food is very good and prices were reasonable. The decor is basically "pub like" and the service was friendly and prompt.

One of the few restaurants I have visited where the service was exceptional. The moderately sized menu offered a good selection and the corned beef sandwich was well above average. They also offered fried pickles which I have not seen outside of a chain restaurant. As one of a cluster of restaurants in Peddler's Village I was pleased to discover a nice quiet place for a late lunch.

We were very disappointed with the food. We order sandwiches, greek salads and a combo appetizer to go and it was bad. Everything was just thrown together, the appetizers were over cooked and tasted terrible. The bar tender took our order and was not friendly. We felt like we were putting her out. We spent a considerable amount of money and as far as we were concerned we were grossly overcharged for the poor food quality. Would never eat there again.
