Description: Caleb's American Kitchen is a BYO New American restaurant helmed by Chef Caleb Lentchner, former executive chef and general manager of New Hope's Marsha Brown.Caleb's American Kitchen menus are inspired by all things American including steaks, burgers, lobster, shellfish, Creole, California and of course, local and regional farmers from PA and NJ. Offering the finest in New American Cooking, patrons visit us several times a week enjoying poached eggs and fresh salsa over a bed of sautéed spinach, a grilled salmon club with bacon on a buttery brioche bun or the luscious seared scallops with shrimp and lobster risotto. Whatever your taste buds are craving, we have something at every meal to satisfy your palate. Adjacent to Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA, this bistro styled eatery is located where Routes 202 and 263 meet.

“Good choice away from overpriced New Hope Centre”

We were recommended Calebs by the lovely people opposite at the Knitting and xSpinning shop. Much better ambience and prices than central NH. Well worth coming a couple of miles out of town. Frequented by locals not tourists. Others have complained about noise, lack of bread and poor service. Our bread was well above average and service spot on. Staff are obviously learning fast and deserve support. The noise was of contented customers! If local I would be a regular. Don't forget this is a BYOB. I didn't know so had to zoom off for a bottle of wine - 5 mins up the road. Restaurant makes a special point of carefully sourcing it's food and this results in good clean flavours. Would like to see European style after dinner coffee rather than US breakfast.

“Great food and service but, really loud.”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

We were a party of four for dinner. The service was excellent, the food was very good, especially the fresh veggies from local farms. We appreciated the fact that Caleb, the chef/owner visited all the tables to be social and make sure everything was okay. The main dining room is small... about a dozen tables and thus, the noise level was annoying. It was difficult for us to hear each other because of all the other conversations going on. To be fair, one of our party had been here previously for lunch and said it was much quieter. Despite the noise, we would recommend it and will visit again ourselves, for lunch. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a BYOB place and the staff is very accommodating. Check it out.

“Love this spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner!”

Best addition to Lahaska and Bucks County! Fantastic meals any time of day. Great mix of traditional menu items along with creative options. Caleb truly understands the needs of those who eat gluten free and always has great options. For breakfast, the Paleo Breakfast is my favorite!!

Fish tacos had very little fish, mostly tomatoes and beans. Other entries of Fritatta were overcooked. Very noisy.

We spend a lot of time out driving through the country side and often make our way up through Peddlers Village. Yesterday out of the corner of my eye I noticed that Calebs American Kitchen was open and never having been there decided that was where I would take my mother in law for lunch after our trip to Solebury Orchards.
The staff was friendly and helpful, seating us right away in an easy place for Mother to sit comfortably and have view. The menu is varied and regional in design and not at all overwhelming. The locally sourced food is spectacular and artistically arranged as well. I had sugared walnut, cranberry and chicken salad with spring mix and my mother in law had the avocado BLT on rye with the homemade potato chips that she could not eat just one! I had the corn gazapcho soup as an appetizer. Could not have been a more a pleasing lunch. Will definitely stop there again and perhaps even for one of their special dinners.
