They have the best hamburgers,but the service is extremely slow. We waited 45 minutes for a hamburger. Also the hostesses are not very friendly and spend too much time talking to each other rather than seating patrons. Also, they have very few if any sandwiches for lunch. Lunch menu needs an overhaul. Food is good once you get it.

Outside patio is very nice and the inside by the window also lovely. The back by the bar is too dark and depressing.

This Grill needs some brightening up and updating and definitely improvement in the kitchen and service

As part of our stay with the Golden Plough we got a complimentary breakfast. The oatmeal was just so-so. The rest rather Continental. Nothing to brag about.

Went to this establishment on a whim. What a great choice. We ordered the 1/2 lb. burgers. The presentation was lovely, the burgers where cooked properly the 1st time around, the onion rings were very tasty, and they placed the tomato, lettuce, and onion on the side, which was great because I only eat two of those items, and my husband only eats one, so that worked well for us. The pickle was tasty as well, and I usually don't like pickles out that much. We really enjoyed everything we had. We ate inside though because it was a little too hot for us, but there is outdoor seating as well. We will definitely return in the future.

We have eaten many, many times as guests of the Golden Plough Inn. One of the joys of a stay there is a delicious, cooked to order breakfast at Buttonwood. No more. Apparently in May 2014 they did away with breakfast in lieu of an "enhanced" Continental breakfast. I am not sure what was enhanced about it. It consisted of packaged cereal and premade breakfast sandwiches. Nothing fresh or healthy. Horrible,

We sat outside on a crisp, beautiful summer's day. Our waitresses were fabulous. We are both health conscious and ordered naked "burgers". Mine was a vegetarian black bean, quinoa and feta patty with lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle with tzsaki sauce. My friend ordered a salmon burger with lettuce, etc and a large bowl of potato salad. Our food was delicious and so fresh. Our waitresses were attentive. It was truly magical.
