What a great place. A true "hole in the wall joint" with the absolute best omelets you have ever had. I've been in there three times over the last couple of years and look forward to a chance to bet back there when I am in the area next year. The menu is large. Be prepared to take some time to look it over carefully. The omelets are as creative as they are large. From traditional ham and cheese or western omelets to crab omelets, meat lover's omelets, the Dallas omelet, and on and on. The place is a real old diner with original woodwork on the inside. It is cramped but that just adds to the character. You can watch Doug prepare the food right in front of you. Generous doesn't begin to describe the portions. Come hungry. You will love it.

Letterman's is just plain awesome. The owner Doug is the cook, everything is prepared right in front of you. Some of the most creative omelettes you'll ever see, honestly don't know where he gets his ideas but they appear to be wildly successful. The staff is friendly and it's just fun to listen to the banter between the waitresses, customers and Doug. I love to sit at the counter so I can watch him cook. His intensity shows when your meal is delivered. Eat there once and no other diner will come up to his standards.
As said, don't blink or you'll miss it, but it's well worth the hunt when you find it. It's the kind of place where a seat becomes empty and the next guy just picks up his stuff and slides down so two of you can sit together. Breakfast and lunch only, the burgers are very creative, too and fantastic flavor. I only wish there was a Doug clone so they could do dinner too!

Letterman's is a great little breakfast stop! With its vast selection of items, you'll have an excuse to return often. The portions are enough for two, so be prepared to take some home. Seating is very limited (around 20) so there's usually a wait for breakfast on Saturday!

I’ve been to Letterman’s many times so I figured it was time to write a review.

OK, this isn’t a palace, it is more like a step back in time to Roughhouse’s Diner in an old Popeye cartoon but the breakfast is just as cartoony with a breakfast so huge that only Bluto could finish it! Be prepared for prodigious portions, ominous omelets, enormous eggs and piles of pancakes the size of placemats, and all delicious. The service has been excellent every time I’ve been there too!!

Seating is limited to a counter and a few two person tables but the menu is not with TONS of specialty omelets and other breakfast goodies to choose from. Parking is on street but easy to find.

If a huge hearty breakfast is something you crave, you own it to yourself to travel to Kutztown and Letterman’s!

Don't be discouraged by this tiny establishment. You may even have to sit separate from the rest of your group, that is until someone leaves to make room for you. The wait staff is more than willing to move you with your group. The menu items are creative and huge huge portions.
