The first visit since the place was remodeled and reopened. Nicely updated in décor, color, etc. Stopped because we had a coupon for a free appetizer and thought "why not?" We chose the guacamole and salsa with chips as our choice. Chips were very lightly salted and crispy good. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, but they really fell down on the salsa - no chunks of tomato, onion or anything - just runny and wet. Not very good at all!! I stayed with their standard "old timer" burger as I've always enjoyed it and was in the mood for a burger. Was not disappointed at all the selection. However, the fries were not up to the usual standard and were limp and a bit soggy. My partner had the sour cream chicken enchiladas. These were served hot and loaded with chicken and cheese and accompanied with beans and rice. They were very tasty. Service by Jeff was friendly, quick and attentive - a job well done. All is all, we enjoyed our dinner along with mugs of icy cold beer and will be back - especially if they continue providing free appetizers!!
