Sat at the bar to eat, first of all they forgot our appetizers and bought out mains first (sent these back and waitied for the appetizers which were delicious) - bar tender comped our glass of wine as an apology which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately my main then came out (beef sirloin special) which had obviously been left under a heat lamp as the tops were rock hard charcoal (I was amazed how anyone could think this would be edible!). Sent ti back and was replaced within 10 mins and was delicious, again bar tender comped glass of wine, plus dessert and a coffee.........the food we ate was delicious and based on the service recovery would def go back.

Greeted by the hostess who went to see if our table for 10 was ready and a few minutes later we were escorted to a the very last table in a corner on the mezzanine. The waiter came over and was immediately asking for a drink order and recommending the all you can eat for $38.95/PP. Too pricy when you look at the menu. He took salad and appetizer order and it showed up in minutes. Main courses were ordered from pasta to seafood and overall they were very bland. Not really good Italian food, but okay if you just want large portions. Everything on the menu is ala carte (be careful). The waiter then disappeared for over 1/2 hour with no explanation as all drinks were finished and refills were virtually impossible, since nobody was to be found. When the check finally appeared (no desserts) it was $50/PP!! Way to pricy for tasteless fast food.

This is a very nice looking place to dine out, if you are interested in eating the interiors. But, if you are looking for really good Italian food then you can do better elsewhere.

There were five of us in our party and we decided to go with the Family Style option. Now, there are definitely plenty of choices for everyone's taste. One of our members was a vegetarian and the selections were great for her. The quantity of food was to say the least plentiful. No one had any complaints with the amount of food.

The quality of food was pretty average. We had eggplant Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine Alfredo, and linguini and white clam sauce. Everything was okay, but that's about it. The clam sauce definitely had the taste of burnt garlic and was fairly "off".

Our waitress that night was less than attentive, we constantly had to flag other servers to have our waters refilled, and other minor requests.

This location is always busy, and crowded. Good for them bad for us. It is extremely noisy, to the point where everyone at our table either had to lean in or cup their ear to hear the converstation. That was terribly annoying and tiring.

The deserts were better than average, with a nice selection.

Overall it was a disappointment. Our dinner took 3 hours and most of our patience. If I were looking for a better Italian experience I would go to San Nicole in Malvern. The food is excellent and at the same price level.

If you're in the King of Prussia area and are looking for a good family place I'd suggest looking further than Maggiano's.

Be sure to make reservations; this place fills fast; even during the week!!. Excellent quality and value. Might be best not to eat all day so you are starved when you get here. Great selection of wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. This place is "family style" and they just keep bringing you food; really, really, good food!! I didnt think I would eat for 2 days after we left, and would definitely go back next trip to the King of Prussia area.
