A bit off the beaten path, Aroma is a hidden gem in the Valley Forge Towers complex. The food is delicious and exquisitely presented. Our favorites include the appetizer sampler of hummus, baba ghanouj, beet dip, falafel, tzatziki and the best grape leaves I've ever tasted, served with a basket of pita bread wedges. The lentil soup is an absolute must! The lamb kebob platter is richly flavorful and so very tender. The baklava from Detroit's Shatila Middle Eastern bakery is the absolute best reminiscent of a Lebanese grandmother's finest offerings. Lunch specials are a real bargain. Friendly service and the chef visits every table to be sure everyone is enjoying their meal. He so deserves to succeed.
