“Amazing service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2010

We normally stay in two star hotels on most trips, but this time we were attending a convention in Valley Forge and this was one of the less expensive options. The most notable thing was the warmth of the staff. Everyone greeted us. The free breakfast staff at most hotels tend to be silent, if not sullen. The three on duty here were full of smiles and welcomes. They even came around to your tables to check on you. Even the manager was on hand in the morning, standing in the lobby, and checking with almost everyone to see how their stay was. About the only problem we had was getting into the hotel drive while headed east. You had go a half mile past, pull into a right side street, do a U-turn and then a left turn back on US202, as no U-turns are allowed. Breakfast included the normal items plus waffles. Each morning there were two hot dishes as well and they changed each day; Omelets, hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy…. Rooms were clean, AC worked great. Linens appeared new. Check in and out was a breeze. Internet worked fine, but required a password. Heard no outside noises, and none from the hallway either. A great stay.

We were on a roadtrip and went to Philly for shopping. Enjoy a relaxing night after shopping the East Coast's biggest shopping mall. Rooms are very clean, front desk very friendly. We had a roadside room, but the windows kept the noise outside. Only the breakfast area is very small and a little bit grumpy.
But all in all: Worth the buck!

I was in a room facing the highway. The noise was so loud I could not sleep. I slept 2 hours. The decor needs updating as well, esp the bathroom. I am a Hampton Inn regular, but would not return to this hotel.

I stayed here on business for four nights. It was a very good week. I have one recommendation: request an even room. The odd rooms are on the turnpike side and the road noise is LOUD. The hotel staff is great and here to help. They are VERY busy-I think they were full every night I was here-but they have time for their customers and value their business.

The noise from the adjacent highway is way, way higher than any hotel I've ever stayed in. There appears to have been no attempt made to sound proof the room. It's amazing to me that a large hotel chain like Hilton would build a hotel this close to a highway without making efforts to minimize the noise.

My reward for complaining was no newspaper the following day.

In addition, the TV was shot, and the bath vanity and tub surround were broken.

Otherwise it was a typical Hampton Inn.

This trip, we stayed with colleagues and overall was a good experience, however compared to other Hampton Inn experiences this one was a little sub-par. The rooms were out-dated with old furniture, the TV was not a flat-screen like other Hamptons, and comparibly small with no composite/VGA input option to review my presentation or play a movie from my computer. The tub leaked during my shower.

Otherwise was comfortable, very clean, and had a friendly staff. For the same rate of $119 a night, you could stay at the Dolce for a better experience or for budget-minded travellers, I'd recommend the Clarion Suites Park Ridge which used to be a Sheraton and has all the amenities of a larger hotel with the smaller price. (~$60/night)

Stayed for 1 night. Location good, very close to mall. Initially went to wrong hotel,
there is a Hampton inn valley forge which is no where near here, like 12 miles to the north!
They should re-name it Hampton inn Oaks-Audabon.
Our hotel was clean, good service. No pool nor gym. Breakfast ends at 10am sharp.
At 10:01, they had locked up the food. Hot breakfast = sausage patties &
French toast sticks. For $100/room/nt., I guess not to bad nowdays.
