“Nice Dinner”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Located in a mall, the ambience is not all that great and the seating is somewhat cramped. That said, however, we did have an excellent meal here. My wife and I started out with some oysters on the half shell. They were excellent, fresh, and not too salty. For our entree, I ordered the Grilled Lamb Sirloin and my wife ordered the Trout. Both dinners were done to perfection. Would definitely dine here again should we return to the area. Recommended.

“Nice Lunch”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

My wife and I stopped here last weekend due to the fact they serve a late lunch. Although not really in Kennett Sq. we were delighted with our experience. The wait staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and to be assured we were enjoying ourselves. The food was excellent (although very, very large portions...especially the Turkey Club) and the Mint Juleps to die for. The homemade bread could have been our whole lunch! There isn't a lot of atmosphere (located in a very mini maul on a busy highway) but once inside the food and service make you forget the location. A great spot to enjoy a late lunch/evry early dinner.

“Nice place for a great evening”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

Low key, dress down, comfortable place. Jeans are fine on a Friday night. Busy, but only a momentary wait for our reserved table. Food was great. The lamb dish and trout were particularly good. Service was surprisingly (because the waitress said she thought business was off some that night) a bit slow, but it didn't ruin the experience. BYOB with an $8 corkage fee was fair. Definitely a place to be enjoyed.

“Outstanding Lunch”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

What a great place!!!! We had lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. We were in this area for the weekend and this was our favorite meal of the trip. I had the Cubano Sandwich and my wife had the Turkey Club. Both dishes were excellent. In addition, we had a side dish of those famous Kennett Square mushrooms and they did not disappoint. Oue server was personable, knowledgeable, and very attentive, and the ambience of the restaurant was very inviting. All in all a great place to eat and we would highly recommend it!

“Summer restaurant tour 2013”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Rustic, quiet & quentessential!!! Loved the decor!!! Fine dining, yet, subdued. Amazing menu, Complimentary treat from the chef to begin, followed by homemade breads with our appetizers. Nice size portions, that can be shared by two. From the appearance of the plates to the final taste, first class all the way. We will definitely visit, again!!! Touche to the staff, first class, as well!!!
