I am truly sorry, but I could not disagree more with the folks who have written reviews saying that the service was not up to par or that the food was not good at The Orchard. My wife and I are both very discriminating in our standards of service and food that qualifies as fine dining and we were very, very pleased with The Orchard. If paying over $30 for an entrée is too much in a person’s mind and if a person is more interested in quantity than quality, then perhaps this fine dining experience is not for them. However, if you know good food and savor the flavors that a true chef can provide, then you will get what you pay for at this restaurant. From the maitre d’ to the main server right down to the young lady handling the deserts – everyone was very friendly and helpful. The fact that you can bring your own wine greatly saves on cost. We will definitely return here when we visit Longwood Gardens the next time. It is literally a half mile away from the Gardens and if you are staying in the area and appreciate fine dining, you will not be disappointed by The Orchard.
