“Positively Decadent”

The Orchard has always been a special romantic find of ours. This restaurant is very small, personalized and intimate. You will be exposed to a myriad of unique tastes and flavors. The service is impeccable and the food selections cover every option and category. It is a treat to spend a leisurely evening here and we look forward to returning.

“very good”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We dined on a Frday evening early, 6:30. The food was very good and the ambiance was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive, but not bothersome or rushing you through your meal. The noise level did increase as more customers arrived for later dining. This was our first time and I was very pleased and felt that the food and service were well worth the price. I would recomend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal with quality service. We will certainly return

“Exquisite Art!”

An exquisite experience! An elegant BYOB. The food is spectacular. Each course is served with amuse bouche! Each course is perfectly executed. Courses are paced.

“An Unhurried Evening”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Other reviews have made a point of saying that this restaurant has slow service. It's just a much more leisurely pace than what most people are used to. Everything was at a slower pace, but I would not call this service bad. Everything was timed perfectly. We never felt rushed.

Was disappointed that they were out of the sea bass, but had the Chicken Wellington and it was perfect. So flavorful and moist.

The chef came out to greet the guests. He was very personable. Then when we asked our server about the farm where the lamb comes from, she wasn't sure, so the chef came out again to tell us all about it.

I felt that the tables were a little too close together, leaving little privacy. Other than that, the dining experience was very enjoyable.

We will certainly return....and bring friends!

“Didn't meet expectations”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Our visit began with 2 questions posed by the hostess about whether we had a reservation and whether we had brought a bottle of wine (it is a BYOB restaurant that charges a minimal corkage fee by the way which we found to be a little odd). We found the decor to be rather depressing as the room was minimally lit and the white walls had NO decorations so the room looked particularly stark. We had a 5 course tasting menu that was good but not particularly memorable. We did not like, in particular, the mushroom chevre tart that was grainy and not smooth; the duck that was tough and had a thick unappetizing fat layer; the cheese course which had a brie that tasted of ammonia because it was overripe; and the chocolate dessert tasting that had a creme brûlée that was not chocolate, ice cream, mousse, a cake covered in extremely bitter chocolate powder and the best part- hot cocoa with rosemary. The service was okay once we got started but the wait for our initial first course was at least 30 minutes.
