“Anticipation”

Everyone's talking about the killer mushroom soup. Was fine, but, would have skipped it to have enjoyed the delicious entree of rainbow trout, today's special. Servicer very nice. Cute "pot" of bread. Reminded me of the days of going to a tea room with my mother.

“Fine Dining at Longwood Gardens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

Reservations are required. The food is excellent with a varied menu that includes Pennsylvania trout, pork chops, fish and meat and pasta dishes, salads, soups, etc. The service and wine list are first rate. This is a great way to break up or finish your day at Longwood Gardens.

“Mushroom Soup to die for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

Every year we travel to Longwood Gardens and one of the main reasons is the 1906 dining. We all love the mushroom soup and the holiday drinks are phenomenal. Atmosphere and wait staff couldn't be better, this is a great holiday treat for us.

Longwood Gardens is am incredible place to visit all year but the outdo themselves during the holiday season. The grounds and the greenery are remarable but at nighT Spectactular. the Staff are so helpful either explaning the plants, or directing you to the next best site was very good. the gift shop is an retention of the grounds themselves. another great feature is there are place to eat from either snacks or full meals.
