“Lunch at La Verona”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

Not too many restaurants are open in Kennett Square on Sundays. This one was. Delightful waitress! Service was fast and friendly. Wine was delicious. Food was average at best. Soup was served barely room temperature. Caesar salad lacked pizazz. Gnocchi very good; sauce very bland. Lunch salad very small. Good sausage/egg/cheese sandwich. Fireplace inviting.

“Large portions”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

We 1st ate here this summer when another Resturant was closed and decided to give it a try. Wow we're we surprised how good the food was and how large the portion where. I had the fish and my wife had the veal, both where outstanding. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help. Went back Dec 27 with my son's family they live in Boulder and they loved it. My grandson has food allergies (no diary) and they cooked him and my grand daughter special meals. He had one so she had to have something off the menue ( 2 and 4 yrs old). We go back as often as we can, it one of our favorite places in this area. No miss it you'll love it.

“Excellent Addition to Kennett Square”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

We found this restaurant by accident while walking Kennett Square yesterday. We stopped in to find a very reasonable wine list and menu. We sampled two wines that were both excellent and shared the Calamari Fra Diablo which was outstanding. It is always a treat to find a calamari that is not fried. If in the Kennett Square area, I definitely recommend stopping by. We were told that they also have music twice a week.

“Helped us start the new year off right”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

We were visiting the western Philly suburbs around New Year's and thought we had found a restaurant that would be open on January 1. When it turned out they were closed, we started looking for other options, and were fortunate to find La Verona. We had great, attentive service, and enjoyed a well-prepared meal (three of us had a branzino special with crab, and one had the veal piccata), and we were pleased with the advice we received on our wine choices.

“Great seafood pasta and nice atmosphere”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

We came here with friends on Fri 27 Dec. We're from the UK so were open to any suggestions for what to eat that evening. They recommended this little italian nearby. Parked after 6pm - so it's free on the main street of Kennett Square - handy!

Anti-pasta was great - and plentiful, the bread was good, and the mains were exquisite. Half of us had the specials and half of us ate off menu. All were pleased with their choices. I had the seafood on Angel Hair Pasta - and it was tasty and plentiful.

Sadly no room for dessert.

Great evening and atmosphere.
