Wanted to explore a new area of the country while on business in DC. Saw charming reports about Kennett Square and the Brandywine Valley. Lucked onto Portabello's. It made the trip all in and of itself! Our party of four could have each thrown darts at the innovative menu and been pleased with any dish. We all selected different dishes and loved the large size portions, creative presentation, and wonderful taste. Two different veal dishes, a salmon and a shrimp dish were all hits with us. We visited quite a bit with the delightful owner/chef Brett and Sandra who were intent on providing good value and good cuisine. They are achieving it! Another bonus: BYOB with no corkage fee. Too good!
