The Johnstown Flood Museum provides one with a sense of the tragedy that befell so many people because of the Johnstown Flood. The museum graphically details just what transpired and lays the blame directly at the feet of the industrialists from Pittsburgh who refused to repair the dam.

The movie was about the only thing they really offered here. The National Park site 14 miles upstream, where the flood began, is just as interesting. Nice guide who extemporaneously lectured about the the moment to moment events.

Great informational film. The staff was a little overwhelmed by the Boys' Club busses with noisy kids. We left and returned when it was more quiet.

Johnstown Flood Museum is very informative about the flood and everything that happened then, they even added information about the incline plane and what is up on top of it. There were some diagrams of the flood it's a must see museum and I might add visit the incline as well. Johnstown is a neat town.
