I wish tripadvisor would allow me to rate Harrigan's as 3 1/2 because that would be a more accurate rating. Johnstown is not a hotbed of good places to eat. In fact, for a city its size, it's pretty lousy. This is my favorite Johnstown restaurant, and I've eat here a lot over the years. OK, once you get past that it's located inside a Holiday Inn, the decor is upscale and nice, often with live music on weekends, which is terrific. Service is top notch. Wine selection is excellent. Food is erratic, sometimes solidly good, but not great, other times just so-so. Either way, it is overpriced. (This is Johnstown, Pennsylvania, not NYC, for goshsakes!) I would note that they do excellent, if overpriced, buffets for Mothers' Day and special occassions. All in all, a thumbs up: good, but it could be better.
