“Great find in yamba when travelling with pets.”
Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Our first visit to yamba, travelling with a small dog it can be difficult. This park is very dog friendly, there are only a couple of other parks that allow dogs but you are limited to certain sites.
Only a few minutes drive to town, very quiet location. We had an ensuite site, very reasonable prices. Whilst in yamba we did check out the other dog friendly caravan parks, we ended up reassured we had chosen the right one.
Park itself very well maintained, used both if their pools. Definitely will stay again when next in yamba.

Very dissapointed with the experience at yamba waters holiday park! Once arriving the staff had told us that our room had been double booked and we had been down graded to a cheaper room. Once seeing our room, it was awful.. Very small and old. (Also was told that bed linen was provided and there was none!!) We decided to find another place to stay in yamba and told the staff at the front desk we were leaving as we weren't happy with the room we were given. The lady then proceeded to yell at us and question our leaving as it was "strange for people to leave like that" and that we would be in trouble "if anything was moved in the room or used!" This is disgusting customer service! The customer is entailed to stay elsewhere if they were not happy with their room.. not be yelled at for leaving! Very dissapointed with the whole experience and wouldn't recommend anyone going to stay there!!

We recently stayed for a week in an en-suite powered site for $30 per night. The park is very well set out & seems to have all the things you would expect, e.g. pool (2), b-b-q, laundry, camp kitchen.
We also had a reIative staying in a studio unit which was really nice & comfortable and had all amenities.
It was quite busy while we were there with people coming & going every couple of days. Normal powered sites seemed to have a more room than the en-suite ones & a bit more peaceful Very quiet location but not far from town, shops, restaurants, clubs etc.
Yamba should be on everyone's must-see lists, it has the most amazing beaches & views.

10 minutes off the freeway. Yamba is Beautiful place worth checking out.
Spacious rooms and good staff assistance.
Close to shops, clubs, petrol and water.
Has 2 pools which looked clean even in winter and a good kids park.

We love Yamba and any chance we get to get away we are there. Yamba waters is perfect for our family with spacious camp site with our own ensuite, playground and pools for the kids and best of all we can bring our little dog. Easy walk into the village along the beautiful water front. Camp sites were half the price of other parks in the town over xmas! We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This park is exellently priced (we stay in an ensuite site in our caravan) and the sites are roomy and the park is not posh but the grass is always mowed and the emenities are always clean. There is plenty of room to park while checking in. We wont stay anywhere else. The ensuites are roomy and you can hear the birds in the morning. The owners are so helpful and friendly and we have a chat with them every time we visit. The powered sites are mostly under some shady trees and close to the emenities block. There is no noisy roads near by but it is not at all far from the shops and the beach. I wouldnt say it is not a kid friendly park but other parks might have more to offer kids but we like this park that way. We are not oldies but like the quiet so definately recommend to stay here if you want just that. The park is dog friendly as well, more parks need to allow pets.
