Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, comfortable room.

The room was overpriced for what (and where) it was, and charging guests for wifi in 2013 is ridiculous. $28 for an average buffet breakfast was also unacceptable.

Those pricing issues aside it was a nice hotel for those who are attending an event in the area. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Picked this property as it suited us to break our journey from the Gold Coast to Canberra. We utilised a complimentary night from our Accor Advantage Plus membership. I phoned the hotel before we left home and informed them that the day of our stay was our wedding anniversary. On arrival we had been upgraded to a one bedroom unit and there was a bottle of sparking wine and chocolates in our room. Thanks Mercure.

We ate dinner that night and breakfast the following morning in Karinyas restaurant. We enjoyed attentive service from staff at both meals. The breakfast was fairly standard buffet style. A standout for us was the dessert that we ordered at dinner. It is not on their winter menu so no point in naming it.

Gave Reception a list of items needing attention in the room and on the balcony.
This is a quiet place with great relaxing views over wetlands and golf course.
'Travelled with' your selection is poor as it does not include 'wife, husband, partner .
What exactly does the 'Rooms' mean? Not obvious.
The facility looks as though it needs a touch up to bring it back to their desired standard. Gardens are in beautiful condition.

I've stayed at this resort on two occasions now while working on the Central Coast. It's a little out of the way and can be a little difficult to find in the dark, but this also means that the resort is quiet so no risk of being kept awake with traffic noise overnight. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and spacious. I have had both a studio and a one bedroom. For me, the most attractive feature of the room is the kitchenette (1 BR room) and microwave (studio) which gives me the freedom of being able to prepare simple meals and breakfast, an absolute bonus when trying to stay as healthy as possible while away. The resort also has a gym and pool (indoor and outdoor), so no excuses for not keeping up the exercise regime! I have eaten in the restaurant on my previous visit, and found the area to be a bit too long and cold - perhaps difficult to heat due to its size? You can't go past this resort for a base while away on business.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for one night. The major negative was that the two bedroom apartment is over two levels with a very long and steep stair case with no hand rail. This was an issue for young kids and anyone with a heavy bag.

However, lots of positives. The overall resort is in very good condition and the outdoor and indoor pools were very good. The kids playground is modest but newish style. The apartments overlook the golf course and natural ponds that have lots of bird life. Our kids were able to watch some rabbits eating the grass outside our apartment.

The apartment had a good washing machine/dryer, two televisions, a good size dining table, good heating/cooling and a reasonable bath. The overall size was large. While the place looked quite full didn't really notice any noise.

The standout was the service. The tv didn't work initially but the issue was addressed immediately. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was reasonable but very friendly service and very accommodating of kids. Those working at the resort looked like they wanted to be there!

The resort itself is in a slightly odd location. Would be a good place to stay if you were off to the races as the racecourse is just down the road. Biggest recommendation is that we would return.

Room Tip: Need to be aware the two bedroom unit has very steep stairs

Lovely resort, would definitely stay again. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Fantastic if you play golf, but if you dont the views are beautiful. Would highly recommend the two bedroom suites for families, very spacious.

I would like to applaud this hotel on it’s cleanliness. Not only with the rooms but with the facilities, the pools, spa & tennis courts were also immaculate. Overlooking the Golf Course brought a sense of calm and relaxation. We ate in the restaurant and had lovely service and a delicious 3 course meal. With only a short drive to Tuggerah and Wyong shopping and beach’s, this is a wonderful location. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
