This was booked by our daughter and what a great job she did. When we arrived, we were greeted by the very friendly owners (Chris & Diane) and shown the Suite - nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable. It's in a central location easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants (Must try Moya right down the street- http://www.jimthorpemoya.com/ ).The only complaint my wife had was that the wonderful home baked goods by Diane must have added 20 pounds to her weight, we couldn't resist. When we return to jim Thorpe, this is where we will stay.

First time in Jim Thorpe was great and was made even better by staying @ the Times II Inn.
The innkeepers are very friendly, accommodating, and if you want some delicious baked goods in the morning, do stay here. Yes it is a victorian bed and breakfast, but it wasn't musty. It was very clean, cute retro decor, fluffy towels, nice array of snacks and drinks, all included with your stay.

In general, the people in Jim Thorpe are very friendly. It's a quaint town with lots of history (there's some haunted history as well for you ghost fans) and activities — biking, kayaking, white water rafting, tubing, etc. — so you can work those morning goodies off!

We highly recommend staying at the Times II Inn ! We are definitely staying here again for our next time around.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Times II Suite. Plenty of room in the bedroom. Didn't see the other rooms, so t...

We were strolling around Jim Thorpe in search of a B&B to stay at next time we come (even tho we thoroughly enjoyed the DeFeo Manor where we were staying... we like to sample different places). Anyway, the owner was cleaning the windows, and we explained that we would like to come back here some time, as we loved this little town. We asked if we could check out her B&B. She dropped what she was doing and showed us the rooms. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Huge too. The large bed was way back in a corner, then there was tons of rug space until you hit the couch and chair in the sitting room. They had a cute little kitchenette. This owner took her time with us and showed us the other room as well. Her kindness, and the beautiful rooms, make us want to stay here next time we come.

By the way, this B&B is right next to a magnificent church, Saint Mark's. Google-image it; it's really cool. Also, this B&B is off the "main drag" so is a little quieter, which is nice. It sits along a stone wall and reminds you of old Europe. Kinda neat!

My husband and I stayed in the Elegance Suite for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it here. It was our first trip away from our young daughter so we were understandably nervous and a little on edge when we arrived...However, when we walked through the door of the suite, I was speechless. Diane had the fire going, fresh flowers, a homemade cake, and a bottle of wine waiting for us...We were able to completely relax and enjoy our time away because you just really can't be anything but blissfully happy when in a place like this. The bed is so comfortable, the homemade baked goods were deeelish, and Diane - so sweet and helpful. You will love it here - highly recommended!!

My best friend and I went up to Jim Thorpe for a chance to see Aimee Mann play at the Opera House (amazing!). It was a challenge to find a B&B that allowed for a one night only stay. I am SO happy that we were able to book a reservation at The Times House. From the moment my gal pal and I stepped into the Times II Suite we instantly felt like royalty. It is crystal clear that Diane and Chris love to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. We could not have asked for a nicer time. Don't hesitate for second -- stay and enjoy! Thanks! My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Times House. Beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was superb! From the delicious homemade baked goods to the beautiful bouquet of flowers and wine that awaited us, Diane and Chris made a home away from home for us! We highly recommend enjoying all that Jim Thorpe has to offer while staying in this amazing place. We can't wait until our next weekend getaway! My husband is dreaming of the wonderful Irish Soda Bread Diane made for us :)

My wife and I stayed in the Times II Suite for a few days in January. The suite was exactly what we were looking for: quiet and comfortable. It was beautifully appointed and even though it was on the first floor, street noise was a non-issue. With the exception of some modern conveniences, the suite was decorated with a historical eye. The stained glass sconces and tiffany lamps added an authentic ambience. The innkeeper, Diane, made an amazing array of baked goods (Choc. Cherry Muffins, Oatmeal cookies, soda bread, etc) during our stay. This along with some staples we brought with us made the trip quite affordable. We did enjoy eating out at Moya which was only twenty yards away! The offstreet parking was as well an added bonus in a busy town. I would go back to the Times House and enjoy another relaxing stay.
