We stopped here on our way back to the B+B and stayed for a while. Didnt eat but he had good Guinness and other beer selections. We had gone on a great bicycle tour that day so we were thirsty. It was a warm environment and had live entertainment, piano player.

A group of 5 of us (who are from 5 different states) visited the very cute town of Jim Thorpe for the day. After walking around town for several hours we decided to get a bite to eat. We didn't realize that we had decided to visit on a weekday that is typically considered their "weekend", so many places weren't open and there weren't that many people around during that Wednesday in the last week in July. But, this restaurant looked interesting and had a menu with items that looked appetizing, so we decided to eat here. We were the ONLY table in the restaurant for our entire meal. Our server was fairly attentive, but not as much as we would have liked after our food finally arrived. Having worked in a restaurant through college, I understand that the kitchen is slowest when the restaurant is slow, so I understood the wait for our food, which arrived hot and well plated. The portions were large, satisfying even the hungriest guy in our group. The sandwiches were very tasty and the fries were terrific! The beer drinker among us was pleased with the local choices. We enjoyed our meal and all left feeling completely stuffed. We would all recommend a visit to the Broadway Grille & Pub! (And town!)

Our friends from Brooklyn came to see us..We decided to head to Jim Thorpe again and visit this quaint town. I read some reviews about this restaurant on trip advisor and wanted to see for myself! When we got there the restaurant was booked up... We waited for about 15 minutes in the Inn section and then were called to our seats. The decor is nice, but old... We were told the Inn was built in the 1800's. The wait staff was friendly, not overly attentive but the place was very busy. The food was above average--nothing to rave about but better than most restaurants in this area... The atmosphere was nice. Overall-- a nice experience and I would definitely go back again!

This was my third visit and the food was not as good. I had to ask the server for bread. The french onion soup tasted like it came out of a can and a slice of cheese was melted via microwave over the broth
The rack of lamb was braised and tasty but the polenta overly mushy like runny mash potatoes. It was a very small portion but only $19 so I did not expect more. The chicken marsala was tender and decent portion but the marsala
Sauce was thin and bland. It did not taste like real marsala sauce. And it came with the same runny polenta. The crab sushi app was done very well and had 8 pieces. The wine list ia reasonably priced but without anything notable. With the inferior entrees why bother? I will come back here but only for some apps.

While staying at the Inn of Jim Thorpe they include a $7.00 value for breakfast. This works out well since you can order many things and keep it around 7.00 but if you are like my husband you can get the Broadway Breakfast for 10.00 which is worth every penny. The coffee could be better. They really should buy another brand. The service the first morning was not good but on Saturday they had a much larger staff and the service was great and the coffee was a little better too. We also stopped in at the Pub one night for drinks and they were fine and the music was wonderful. Free live music on Thursday and Friday nights. We had a nice bartender there and she had to deal with a situation we watch unfold and I have to say she did it with tact and kindness. Good for her! I would return to the pub on my next visit.
