Family dined here last night after a day of White water rafting. Menu is typical Pub food for the area with slight spins on the flavor. Burgers, sandwiches and a handful of entrees. Turkey burger on pretzel bun had flavor but bun was soggy. Various grilled chicken sandwiches with different cheeses and veggies. Spectacular view looking out the back deck. Dinner for 5 was $70 plus tip.

We ate at Roadies because we were attending a concert there and it is very convenient.
Revervations are definitely needed when dining there before a concert.
They have a pretty good sized menu with a lot of different selections. A few of us ordered just appetizers as our meal and they were good sized and enough for an average eater. If you are a big eater then order two or order an entree.
The chicken quesidillas were good.. not great but I've had worse. They were good sized, enough to take some home, and tasty. The chicken wings were not the best.. like they were out of a box. Chili was good but a tad too sweet and the potato skins good, not great. Dinner salad was fresh and good sized but the dinner roll was kind of stale. Prices range from $8.00 for the appetizers to $15-$20 for entrees. You can see their menu's online at their website at pennspeak.com
I must say the service was great.. our waitress was very prompt and knowledgable and had a lot of patience with us trying to make up our minds and asking questions and explaining the different dishes to us.. Our food was served hot and prompt.
There is a beautiful view from the deck where tables are set up but because of the pending inclement weather we were not permitted to sit out there.
If you are going to a concert there it's very convenient however we definitely were disappointed with the food. We probably will eat somewhere else before we go there next time for a concert. I would recommend it for convenience but not food.

Have eaten here a number of times over the years. Have had very good meals, but lately it hasn't been so hot. The food is mediocre and the service is just ok. Nice view, that remains constant. May try again if the situation dictates but won't go out of my way to eat here.

A friend & I took a day to visit the town of town of Jim Thorpe. Having been here for concerts we decided lunch might be nice on the balcony, it was sunny & breezy but warm. The food was delicious and service prompt.

Our server was not good. She did not pay attention, forgot items, forgot things after she was reminded she forgot them. The food was not great, ribs are flabby. Bar food is what it is, overpriced bar food with crappy service. The only thing Roadies has going for it is it's AT Penn's Peak. Next time I go to there for a show, I'll be sure to dine elsewhere.
