Description: A merry old seafood joint in the best little town on Earth called Woy Woy, sitting on a jetty on Brisbane Water on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. A seafood market, take away fish & chip shop and a killer laid back restaurant. Come for a very very very casual dining experience surrounded by pelicans, boats & mangroves. Bring a smile, leave your pretensions at the door and enjoy some of freshest and most delicious seafood you'll ever eat! We're not fine dining, we're bloody good fish & chips on the water with beautiful wines to match. We look forward to seeing you at the Wharf.

Great new renovation and a lovely location and outlook. We ordered two glasses of sparkling wine and ordered a seafood platter, which we had enjoyed in the past.

The wine came and it was flat, the waitress replaced them graciously, and we sipped and enjoyed that. We then ordered a bottle of pino gris. Which never came. We changed the oder to a glass.
In the meantime we finished the small seafood platter, which consisted of over spiced and over salted calamari, tasteless battered fish which was watery and clearly frozen. The battered prawns were sadly also tasteless and there was a small grab which we struggled with till the novelty wore off. Praens very salty but OK and the oysters and chips were great. We got up to leave and the waitress was just pouring the glasses of wine. She apologised however the bill being over $100 was an absolute waste of money. Can get it so right but they take for granted that there are plenty more customers out there.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for my birthday after calling three times to book and going to message bank. We decided to go anyway only to be told you should have made a booking didn’t you read our sign that says our phones have been out all week, yes but we just arrived was met with a sigh and we were shown to the last available table and sat down. The same waitress came back with the menus threw them on the table and told us in no uncertain terms that they were short staffed and because didn’t book it be a long wait and then stormed off. Well I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in my time but have never experienced such rudeness from anyone, we simply got up and left never to return

Went for drive anticipating some ordinary weather as forecast. Pulled into Woy Woy as the sun shone brightly and provided a warm afternoon for a casual easy walk along the waterway. Relaxed and soaking the sun opted for a lazy unplanned lunch of local fresh fish, fresh accompanying salad. Adequate range of beers and wines to make the occasion and reasonably priced and nice friendly service. Outside dining or takeaway. Able to have the dogs too which a winner.

Great to sit out in the Winter sun and enjoy quality seafood. The seafood here is always fresh, juicy and well cooked. Well worth a trip. Sit beside Brisbane Waters and Woy Woy channel. Great views. The battered fish is beautiful and you have so many choices to choose from. This establishment can to fast food, take away or enjoy the licenced restaurant attached. All great choices.

Amazing day to have lunch at famous Award-winning Woy Woy Fishermen’s Wharf on Central Coast, run by three generations of the Cregan-Clayton family.
Could not wait to enjoy for promising lunch with high expectations to eat the best seafood on CC with long history.

Simply prepared seafood and the best fish & “CHIPS” on the Central Coast as quoted on web site

Food was very under average we ordered seafood platter for a two I think price was $85. Food came out suspiciously very fast. Calamari, simple fish pieces? and prawns were unfortunately all soggy only chips were simply prepared and crispy.
Oysters were dry and only yummy were fresh prawns and crab.
Sauces what came with platter were tartar sauce and cocktail sauce (luck of any ingredient and flavour used in sauce) and mystery sweet chilli sauce.

I really wanted to come after renovation was done, great location with reputation best seafood in Woy Woy. Execution and the skills used by kitchen staff of food is zero the best is only the fresh seafood.

My expectations of Fishermen wharf was to get amazing BEST SEAFOOD in Woy Woy and served seafood that would remember this day and I would be happy and die for to come back any time and wait for it no matter how long it takes but just to get well executed well presented and cooked crispy seafood the best on Central Coast.

Waterfront location is stunning but what about (sea)food ?
