Absolutely beautiful and will definitely return...the attention to detail made the visit truly memorable.
The views were spectacular, with the design of the pavilion capitalising on every breathtaking angle. In particular, the hydrotherapy bath with the bi-folding doors opening out to the deck was a feast for the senses.
Simply beautiful!

Dear B & T

Many thanks for posting your review on Trip Advisor. I was very pleased to read that you had enjoyed your break with us and the magnificent views our Pavilions provide for our guests. They are indeed spectacular - I often wish I had more time to enjoy them myself! and relaxing in your hydrotherapy spa bath with the bi folds open and the view beyond, obviously left a lasting impression, which is great!!

Thank you again for the post and we look forward to welcoming you back

Before even leaving for Wild Edge we were so impressed with the service provide with a lovely call from Alan wishing us a safe journey. Alan is such a nice person and his hospitality was so welcoming and really is what makes Wild Edge perfect. He gave us a tour around our room (natures mist) and attention to detail was wonderful. He had music playing and the room nice and heated for our arrival, he really thought of everything. The state of the room was immaculate. The view from our room was spectacular, absolutely breathtaking, and the design of the villa really utilised the natural light perfectly. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect pace to spend a celebration for our 5 year anniversary. It's a magical place, we will definitely be going back.

Dear Danarhiannon,

Thank you for choosing to celebrate your anniversary at Wild Edge Retreat, and thank you so much for posting such a good review of the property. As the owner of the Retreat, it means a great deal when we hear that our guests have more than enjoyed their stay with us. We do work hard to try and surpass expectations and are constantly making little changes to the Pavilions so that when guests do return, there is always something different to see.

We look forward to welcoming you back - maybe for your next anniversary?

Kind regards,

Alan

Dear Jekhov,

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Wild Edge. It's always a pleasure to welcome our guests and especially those who have stayed so many times before. It feels more like 'catching up with friends'!.

At Wild Edge we try to offer something for our guests for every season of the year. Our popular pool Pavilions during the warmer months and the romantic log fires during the cooler months, and due to our unique mountain ridgeline location, the landscaper below constantly changes with the seasons.

'Life long Guests'......we can't ask for more than that!!

We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Kind regards,

Alan

If you are looking for a luxurious escape (close to Sydney) put Wild Edge on your list of things to do.

The pavilions are beautiful (I have stayed in Nature's Mist & Wind Spirit), the owner Alan is a lovely man who goes the extra mile to make your stay special and I will definitely go back.

I highly recommend getting the dining options. I have ordered the Seafood platter, the BBQ platter and the fruit/choc fondue. All of it was amazing and you do not need to leave your pavilion to enjoy it.

Room Tip: Wind Spirit is incredible. It is the most expensive pavilion but worth it. It is incredibly privat...

Dear RhodyB
I was our pleasure to welcome you back to Wild Edge and even more pleasing to read how much you had enjoyed your weekend with us and also the platters you had ordered.

Also pleased to have received your email to advise you had taken my tip and visited Wollombi Wines and not only sampled, but purchased a case of their 'White Splash'.

We do love to have the interaction with our guests rather than the impersonal 'self check in' becoming more common these days and judging by the repeat business we are receiving, our guests seem to agree.

Hope to see you both again during the warmer months when you can enjoy the infinity edge pool!!

Best regards,

Alan

My partner recently whisked me away for a suprise romantic weekend to propose. From the moment we drove through the gates of Wild Edge Retreat I knew that this place was something very, very special. We are always on the look out for romantic and relaxing places to spend a weekend and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We stayed in the Nature's Mist pavillion which was exceptional. The pavillion was spotless and the design of the accomodation incorporates everything needed for a romantic getaway. From the pool with daybed, to the 2 person sized spa and the fireplace absolutely everything you could possibly want is included. The views over the bushland and watching the mist rise up in the morning were a highlight. I also want to thank the owners who helped my partner with his secret proposal by filling our pavillion with masses of candles so when we returned from dinner in Wollombi I opened the door to the mot beautiful scene. This was truly the most magical place and I can't wait for my next weekend there! Do yourself a favour and book a stay, you will not regret it.

My husband and I recently stayed in the wind spirit pavilion which was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, magnificent mountain views, We loved the 2 person spa bath with the bi-fold doors and The infinity pool was excellent with the day bed beside it, very private and relaxing. Our host Alan was lovely and couldn't be more accommodating we our every need. The BBQ platter was excellent and more than enough for us, The Ploughman's lunch was also excellent, just enough for lunch and the cheese platter was excellent, The romance package was more than we could have asked for with candles every where, the room was stunning. Words can not describe the experience that you will have staying at the retreat. We have already recommended the retreat to our friends and family and We couldn't have asked for a better getaway than this. We will definitely be back but for longer next time... Thanks again Alan for a lovely trip.
