Stayed for 3 nights during tennis tournament. Accomodation excellent value. had a family room -2 interconnecting rooms with 2 way bathroom - lovely big single beds plus large double.
spotlessly clean. Bedrooms not big, but comfortable.but best delight was host Bev and manager robyn.fantastic breakfast (included) and fitted in with our schedule - early breakfast, last breakfast all ok. Local home grown eggs and fresh mushrooms. Fab local ingredients. hosts so helpful - even did our washing for 2 sweaty teenage tennis players!
dinner was amazing food...again home grown/local produce.eg home made ravioli filled with fresh beetroot and cheese. amazing home made dips, excellent steaks and great desserts.
Very pleasant lounge room and outdoor deck for relaxing - open fire in winter.

so much better than any motels in Taree!!!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Bank Guest House. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and we were impressed that the owner Bev offered us a choice of rooms given our request for a quiet room.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent: we enjoyed all courses! Bev is a superb cook, and her hospitality is warm and friendly. The guest lounge area is comfortable, with plenty available for entertainment.

Wingham is a lovely town, and we were glad that we followed Bev's advice and visited the fabulous Wingham Brush Nature Reserve a short walk away.

Stayed at the Bank Guest House over night. Had a great night sleep in a toasty warm room in a very comfy bed. Loads of room, including a cute little kitchen and a large bathroom. Endless hot water, which I love and great water pressure. Breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend the poached eggs. I was even given a cooking lesson on how to poach an egg!! How is that for grear customer service. Would definitely stay here again. Just lovely.

We stayed as a group of four couples for an annual catch-up. The owner was a little abrupt during the booking process but ok. We were dismayed to find on checking in that three couples were accommodated in the lovely guest house but one couple relegated to the daggy, cold outdoor flat while on-site minders were using the other guest room. Dinner was unavailable in the restaurant but a lovely breakfast was provided the next morning. It's a lovely building and the minders were very keen to please. The facilities provide everything you need for a nice winter getaway.I'd recommend a stay but ensure your rooming is clarified beforehand.

We stayed in the hotel for one evening. The hotel is a recently refurbished old bank. Stepping into the front courtyard was like stepping into a new little world away from the main country street and makes the hotel seem very private. The refurbishment is well done making for a comfortable night stay. Our room size and common spaces downstairs were generous. There was also a range of DVDs we could select from to watch in our room. The owner suggested we try the Australian Hotel for dinner and drinks, the corner pub 2 doors up the road. The food was substantially sized and delicious. The morning breakfast was standard, cooked breakfast or uncooked homemade mueslis, and was very tasty. We recommend making the 15 minute drive from the highway for a night's stay.
