This is the second time we have done this cruise during our stay in Coolangatta. We enjoyed it very much the first time & again recently.
Captain Murray gave an excellent commentary, We were fortunate to have a lovely sunny day & the scenery was superb. The food was good - we chose two different meals - one surf & turf & one seafood banquet. Guests were encouraged to return for 'seconds' so no shortage of food. Morning tea is also served on the way up the river - tea/coffee & cake.
The 3/4 hour stop at Tumbulgum enabled us to have a wander around the street where we found a lovely art & craft shop together with great jewellery & shoes. The 1887 Tumbulgum Tavern was also an attraction for many people.
Would certainly recommend this cruise.
