Having been for a good walk along the nearby beaches on a late Sunday afternoon my wife and I were not overly hungry and did not want to undo all the good work so decided to wander around The Entrance to see what was open and have an early dinner. We walked past Bar Cantina and had a look at the menu in the window. The Tapas looked just the thing. The restaurant was nicely opened up to the fresh air and the wooden furniture was solid and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we ordered two glasses of an excellent Margaret River classic dry white for $6.50 each and 3 Tapas to share. The first was the eggplant on toast which was very tender but a little bland. The other two dishes being king prawns in chili and garlic and a creamy button mushrooms again with garlic were excellent. We finished off with two good flat white coffees. A total bill of $54.00 was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be going back and trying the full dinner menu probably on a Saturday night when we understand the place is very lively.
