Dined in with friends last night. We sat by the water for a magnificent sunset and ordered a seafood platter for 2, Salt and pepper chilli calamari, and a barramundi due. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The service was very friendly. Was a great kick start to our Saturday night :-)

We have dined here six times in six weeks and have never been disappointed. The hoki fish and chips is very tasty and there has not been a drop of oil left on the plate (from the batter). However their seafood platter is what spending a lazy lunch with friends is all about, so good. It would be wonderful to be able to have a glass of wine or water, and watch the sunset but this can only happen on Saturday nights. The rustic surrounds and atmosphere has a charm of its own and goes with the surroundings ie water views and bird life. ..Another good factor is you can park right outside the front door.

Great food , polite staff, what more can you ask for at a resturant. Eating at the waters edge on a sunny sunday bliss.

I've been coming to eat at Pelican's Wharf for years now with family and friends, with no complaints. The service is good, and the food is tasty and very well presented. Some meals can take a little while to reach the table, but when it does it's always comes with a big wow factor. Ok it's not a 5 star paradise resort, but the atmosphere/location more than makes up for the rustic feel about the place, and we always leave feeling happy to return again.

The restaurant looks quite run down but it added to the ambience of the place with leaking roof and wet tables and chairs (I should add that this was during the very wet Oz day weekend). The food took a while to arrive but we had been warned after ordering their board special of garlic butter moreton bay bugs. The food though was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Best chips in the area
