The view is outstanding. We stayed on the top floor with a hot tub on the balcony. You can lay in bed and watch the waves or sit in the tub. The rooms aren't fancy but they are clean and you have everything you need. There is a mini fridge so we brought cereal, fruit, drinks, cheese and biscuits so we could enjoy the view. There isn't a lift so if stairs aren't your thing then perhaps a ground floor room would be better. There is a supermarket in town and quite a few restaurants, roughly a fifteen minute easy walk. There are ocean baths if the waves are too big and secure parking under the hotel at no extra charge. We would both come back.

Room Tip: We loved the hot tub looking out at the ocean, it was worth the extra cost to us

What a wonderful spot for lunch! The ever changing seascape calms & revitalises the grey cells.
Meals are really great, [this was our tenth visit & I finally decided to let you all in on the secret], but the view's to die for.
Wine selection is fair, but for us old pensioners, a little pricey, as are the meals.

Room Tip: Generally quiet, just the sounds of the ocean.

Thank you for your review; you're quite right, we provide simple, clean and comfortable rooms in an absolute waterfront location with the beach, rock pools and ocean baths on our doorstep.

Your comments regarding the hot tub are appreciated and we will look at putting in steps for easier access in and out of hot tubs.

All rooms have sliding fly screen doors, maybe yours was left inadvertently ajar. We do keep a can of insect repellant at reception for those who forget to pack their own.

Guest feedback is appreciated and very important to us; we are always reinvesting to improve the motel and our guest experiences.

Best regards.

Very easy to find at the entrance, parking is good it only has 3 levels .Reception was friendly&speedy .From the minute you walk in the room the first thing to get your attention is the great ocean views and thats what this motel has. We stayed in room 21 on the top floor it is not a bad size for a motel room, clean & modern it has a 2 person spa in the bathroom its a little dated but has what you need .The bed is comfy, the best part is the 2 person spa on the balcony. We stayed on a sunday night it was very quite & relaxing sitting in the spa as the sun went down & hopped back in as the sun was coming up.The seafood restaurant is closed on a sunday but its got a nice Chinese restaurant for deliveries so sit back in the spa and enjoy the views.

Room Tip: pay a bit more and get a room with spa on balcony&spa in bathroom room 21 is good

Picked this motel as it had noted views over the Pacific. It lived up to the hype with a lovely view across the beach and up towards The Entrance.

Friendly and quick booking process and into a clean and average size motel room. The balcony was a good size suitable for a nice relaxing time looking over the ocean. Nice to have covered parking.

Only quibbles were the air conditioning wasn't up to the job - took most of the night to get enough heat - the bathroom was awkward as the door swung into the useable space.

Room Tip: Go for one of the ocean front rooms.

There is a definite charm about this place, great clean room, balcony with hot tub and a spa in the bathroom made this room perfect for a relaxing and quiet couple of days away. Lovely touches with the two free bottles of water and cookies. The negatives, my room phone and wifi didn't work at all, I didn't report it because they weren't significant issues for me. The guy at reception probably asked one too many questions about me, which as a solo female traveller I found a bit creepy (especially with a dead room phone and dubious locks on the door). For my preference, the bed was quite hard, but some people might like that, the kettle left a terrible taste in the water and the food from the Ocean Restaurant downstairs was memorable only for the fact that I paid way too much for what was quite a mediocre meal. However! when it comes down to it, these were all minor things when you consider what the place has to offer. You can easily waste a day between the hot tub and the balcony just staring at the ocean, for the price, it's a great place and I look forward to staying again. The fridge was ample to keep food in so I will bring more of my own next time.

Everyday room Service is great! Great location directly on the beach! We stayed on the top floor with our own private hot tub! Fairly small rooms but very clean and great value for money! The cleaners even top up your cookie jar everyday :p overall great stay!
