“Poor service, outside table no shade, poor menu choice”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

Initially ignored at counter of 4 staff then told we had to sit outside - no tables, they moved children. No shade cover sat on high bar stools in hot sun quite uncomfortable by end of meal felt quite faint. Limited lunch menu choices . No listed Gluten free or salad option. Chose Pumpkin, Ricotta and Walnut tart removed pastry - far too many walnuts. Veal dish loaded with roasted capsicum with skin on.

“A DELICIOUS NEW MENU COMES UP TRUMPS”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

A great and unexpected find in the main street of the equine centre. A new chef and new menu provided dishes which would hold their place among Sydney's finest eateries. My veal melted on the plate. My wife reported her pork was every bit as tender. Unlike big city portions, these servings were very generous. The tasting plate we shared as an entree was equally abundant, beautifully presented and tantalizingly tasty. We washed it all down with a splendid Hunter Valley Red. Altogether a delightful experience. We can't wait to go back the the place, where the crowd was as young and enthusiastic as the waitresses, and real live polo players wandered around still in their competition tops (complete with numbers on the back). A terrific experience, capped by the cuisine.
