My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed two nights at Strathearn Park Lodge. We were wowed by the room from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The room is massive, bright, airy, clean and well furnished with a lovely country estate feel. We couldn't get over the fact that you could be soaking in your spa, looking at your log fire, pure romantic bliss! The private garden was an additional gorgeous feature that really made it feel like a home away from home and an incredible one at that. If you're looking for a getaway with nothing to do but completely relax, indulge and appreciate each other's company, this is perfect for you. We highly recommend it.

First stop over on our way down south. This B&B is set back from the New England Highway just outside Scone in NSW, but no noise could be heard from the rooms. It's very well furnished and comfortable. The bedrooms are an amazing size with a useable fireplace, a large sofa and armchair, a table and two chairs in case you want to have your meal in your room. An area outside for sitting with your own little garden which was full of lavender. The spa was a good size, seperate shower and toilet. The light wasn't working in the toilet but Peter was on hand to change that for us. We had our evening meal in the dinning room which was $35 for two courses. We had lamb shanks followed by sticky date pudding. I'm being a bit nit picky but I would have liked some vegetables with my meal and as I'm not a dessert person I would have like the choice of an entree or pud. Breakfast was continental, we weren't offered the cooked breakfast but that was our fault for not asking. At a $140 per room per night it was excellent value.

Thank you for the great feedback and in relation to the food choices found it very useful. Have just offered choice of dessert or entree to guest staying and they have taken the entree to my surprise. Will keep this up and can certainly offer hot breakfast choice personally rather than rely on the guest to order - didn't know whether this was a bit pushy and oversell but will certainly test it out.

You will find more choices if you visit us again. Thank you

Lyn

This place is really fantastic. There are three rooms available in this hotel and we booked all the three rooms. Its massive house with all the facilities. The hosts Lynn & Peter are pretty good. Their Dinner is delicious. There are fire places in all the rooms and they add nice ambience to the room. The Spa was a little surprise and its open to the room which can be closed. There is lot of privacy for each room and each got its own balcony which opens to nice garden. Overall its a great place and add it to your list of places to visit.

What a surprise this place was. It sat on a hill overlooking grass lands and mountains. The only noise you could hear was the small finches and galas. The aroma of jassiam and other flowers filled the air.
The room was large filled with farm house furniture. Lyn and Peter were great hosts and the food was delightfull.

In all fairness the property should get an excellent.
The rooms are custom built and include a fireplace and corner
spa. Immaculately presented. Amazing gardens and total privacy
as each room has it's own private garden area which is designed to
not be seen from the common areas. Well thought out.
Only draw back is Scone itself. This town needs to invest in
providing things for tourists to do on the weekend. Everything
bar the pub and the chinese restaurants close by 12PM Sat
and stay shut till Monday morning.

We stayed here overnight in October 11. We loved it so much we will be returning for our anniversary next year. Our hosts lyn and Peter were warm and welcoming. We had dinner in our room which was simply delicious. we had our own verandah and private garden surrounded by green pastures - really peaceful. On our walk we were thrilled to spy an eagle which flew right by us. I would recommend this Lodge to all. The room, the pool, the whole place is very five star and very good value.
