“Beautiful beach with safe swimming and sheltered on a windy day”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

One Mile Beach is a lovely spot for familes, fishing, picnicing and surfing in the right conditions.
A safe swimming spot in low swell conditions and a lovely sheltered area in winter when southerly winds are blowing and other beaches away.

“Easter 2014”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

I liked the spacious cabin. The laundry amenities were good. Service desk staff were friendly and helpful.
I disliked the fact that blankets were not freshly laundered, only all other linen.

“Lovely”

Clean and manned by lifeguards, it was a lovely clean beach to swim at. The guards announced changes in the water conditions making us feel very safe

“Idyllic white sand beach”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Close to Nelson Bay this white sandy beach is perfect for families, couples, teens, adults, whatever. Whether you park on Gan Gan Road and trek across the sand dunes or park at the end of Hannah Parade next to the holiday park, this jewel will pleasantly surprise you.
The south end of the beach (Near the holiday park) has a surf patrol and a vast stretch of sand to enjoy. Even in peak holiday season this beach is relatively quite.
Enjoy!
