“You have to be there for 'Happy Hour' Hot Chocolate!”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

Mid Station is privately owned and offers a great variety of food for breakfast and lunch. It's licensed too. It's a bit pricey but understandably so, given its location.

Take the quad chair from front valley and get off half way - thus the name - Mid Station. You can even get up there without skis on this chair lift!!

8.30-10am every day is 'Happy Hour' (or hour and a half), which means hot chocolate is a teeny $2.50 instead of the usual $5 or $6. It's a treat you can give yourself every day if you wish.

There's a gift shop for souvenirs and toilets that are kept nice and clean, so you can completely chill out and warm up on the inside while enjoying some of the best views around.

“Mulled wine! best on the mountain”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Mulled wine was the best on the mountain that i had! It's all a bit overpriced but if you're just there for a mulled wine it's a-ok :)

“Best food and customer service in Perisher”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

This restaurant is in a superb location, a great choice of hot and cold food, freshly cooked, the pies are the best I have ever tasted, also love the roast lamb rolls, fast, efficient and friendly service. A great place for lunch or one of their famous hot chocolates. We have been coming to this restaurant every year and will continue to do so the best value for money. Great staff

“Great food/fast service!”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

Have been skiing at Perisher for many years & mid-station restaurant is a must to stop & re-energise before you hit the slopes again. Great choice of hot & cold food at a reasonable price & their home-made pies are to die for. You can get a great coffee or an alcoholic beverage as there is a bar. Service is quick so you can get on with what you came to do.

“The best beer in the snowys!”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

Great location for ski in ski out breaks without having to wait in those pesky front valley lift lines! They also happen to stock some decent beers at reasonable prices, From the local Dalgety brewery to the famous German Schofferhofer! You also can't go past the tasty chicken burger and friendly staff!
