I stayed at Stables over the long weekend and had a great time. The rooms are really nice, dinners at the restaurant were fantastic and we had heaps of fun at the bar... And the staff treated us really well despite giving them all kinds of grief. It's a cool place, definitely worth staying there if you're going to Perisher

Room Tip: Have dinner at the restaurant and get the baked camembert and the surf and turf

Thanks for the kind words. The Stables crew have certainly kicked off the season with a bang! Really hope you can come back down when the season is pumping and I am sure they can handle more of your grief?

We spent the opening weekend of the ski season at The Stables Apartments in Perisher. Accomodation was in an excellent location of a high standard. Loved the heated floor and full kitchen facilities as well as the great view of the mountains from our apartment. We dined at the restaurant one evening where the food was outstanding followed by a relaxing drink at the bar. While there wasn't much snow at the time of our visit the staff at the Stables made our stay memorable for the entire group. Would definitely recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a place to stay at Perisher.

Room Tip: The three bedroom apartments were perfectly laid out for a group or family setting with multiple bat...

Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review. Everyone loves the apartments with the heated floors that's for sure. I'm glad you still had a great time regardless of the snow conditions. Hope to see you back soon.

I stayed at The Stables Perisher Apartments on the opening weekend in June 2013. Whilst there wasn't much snow, we had an awesome weekend and I was extremely impressed by the quality of the apartments, servicing and atmosphere.

The Apartments - The apartments are awesome. We had a 3 bedroom chalet with 2 bathrooms and a view of the mountain. It has all the little details right like a room for ski and snowboard boots / gear along to heated floors in the bathrooms and a cool balcony looking at Perisher Valley.

Faciltiies - The Restaurant food was very tasty (get the surf and Turf and try some of the Austrian beer). The staff were really friendly, put up with our somewhat crazy behaviour and let us chill at the bar into the night!

Highly recommended :)

Thanks for the kind words, and I am really pleased the crew help make up for the small amount of snow then. Snow is forecast to fall this week so come on down to see the difference when its snowing!

The Stables accommodation is 5 star. Staff friendly and eager to help ... nothing is a problem for them. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere but the food is definitely fine dining standard. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the snow!!!

Just returned from a long weekend at The Stables Resort Perisher. This is on snow accommodation at it's best. Get up in the morning click on your skis and zip down the hill and across the little bridge and you are at the ski fields!!! Our Chalet ( number 16) is two storey with full kitchen, fireplace, laundry/drying room for your equipment and has king size bedroom with ensuite, double bedroom and a twin bedroom. They are very warm and cozy you can walk around minimally clothed no problem. Views are awesome of front valley, Quad lift etc. Looks great when night skiing is on. For families so much easier than having to catch the skitube with gear and kids in tow. You can get the Hans oversnow to pick you up in front of the skitube terminal and take you back up the mountain to the chalet after a hard day skiing. This September was still great skiing on the green runs even though it was spring, beautiful in Pretty and Happy Valley, Perisher was generally quiet but this is great because obviously not as many people on the slopes. Kids loved skischool and are now amazing skiers after 3 days last year and one day this season. The Stables has a fantastic restaurant that caters for kids too, they also do room service, what more can you ask, oh and the bathrooms have heated floors!!!! Definitely recommended!!!!

Exceeded expectations, we stayed in family chalet in late August and had everything we needed. For first time skiers we didn't really know what to do but The Stables made it easy. From when we arrived in Perisher, the blue machine arrived to take us to the apartments, to the final day when we left in a blizzard, we couldnt find a fault. The rooms were clean, warm, and spacious with good views. The units are close to the slopes, as well as an easy walk to the shops for supplies. We will be back next year.

The accommodation was excellent and extremely comfortable, the staff and owners hospitality was excellent, friendly and courteous, the food was five star. Thanks for taking the time to provide such great feedback. We are delighted to hear that the team looked after you and you enjoyed the restaurant. This time of year can definately provide the best value for money, still lots of snow and cheaper rates means affordable skiing. Matt and the crew look forward to seeing you back!
