An excellent venue for a special birthday meal. Good menu choice gave the four of us opportunity to choose well. Two of our group chose the chunky beef pie which was to come with kumera chips. When told there were no chips, the choice was kumera mash or roast vegetables. The serving with roast vegetables was generous, the serving with mash was virtually an empty plate with the pie sitting on top of some mash.On the downside, if you hope that staff are all well spoken, you will be disappointed. One waitress, twice used "youse" when she spoke to us.
