Just enjoyed a perfect meal at The Butterfactory.
Great atmosphere. Young guitarist playing his best tunes. Had the 3 course special. Gnocchi superb. Chicken moist and flavoursome. Dessert sampler topped it off
Also had the steak. Cooked perfectly. Vegetables were the best too.

“Lazy lunch”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

Visited the Butterfactory Restaurant with friends for lunch to celebrate my Birthday. We were given a window seat and it was just so relaxing looking out over the fields - food was superb, service exceptional and the ambiance of the restaurant quite unique - could imagine in times gone by that it was actually a butterfactory. Will certainly be back. Great value for $'s.

“Sad”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

I have eaten here a couple of times. It's hard to find anything decent around Nowra. This place would like to think it is fine dining, and for the location it is.
The food is okay- it tries hard to be okay but it delivers food like a poor regional cousin.
The service is just sad. Perhaps they plucked the waitresses from fish and chip shops.
"What will YOUS have?"
My advise is stick to fish and chips in Greenwell Point or cook at home.
Will someone please open a decent restaurant around here? Please.

“Nice atmosphere and good food”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

I had good memories of the last time we ate here and we very pleased that it lived up to our expectations. There were six of us and everyone was very happy with the size and quality of the food. We had a choice of a $39 three course menu or a la carte selection which 5 of us chose. The fish with chilli and corn was delicious although I felt that the chilli overpowered the delicate flavour of the fish, this thought was echoed by two of my friends who had ordered the pork and the lamb, they also thought their meals were slightly overpowered by the sauces. The desserts were delicious. We took our BYO wine for $5 corkage per bottle. On the whole it was a great night, the service was not brilliant.... but we would very happily go there again.
