“Nothing a good bulldozer wouldn't fix!”
Reviewed November 12, 2011

We spent one night here and were definitely not sorry to leave. Our friends had spent the night before here and they had to change rooms because the beds were so awful that they spent the night on the floor. They checked out our room for us, to make sure the beds were okay, but when we got there, someone else was already in our room. It took ages to get the manager to understand this. When we finally got it sorted out, we got moved into the biggest room. The best part about it was the space. Paint was peeling off the roof and the fans creaked. There were holes in the bedspreads, blankets and couch . One of the cupboard doors was screwed shut and the cold water came out hot. The only positive, if you could call it that, was that it appeared clean. Very shabby, I don't think it has been maintained for a long time. Definitely a job for a bulldozer...

Room Tip: Go to a different Motel.... If you have to stay, insist on inspecting the rooms first.

Have stayed here twice and it was better the second time because the room had digital TV. The rooms are basic. The shops are down the road and it was free parking. Overall my stay was good.

Negatives:
Rooms are old style
Furnishings could do with replacing
Could have done better with cleaning

Not the best, but was preparing for the worst as we got it really cheap
The positives:
We got a good price
Good location
Private
Had the pool to ourselves

Stayed for 2 weeks, this was the cheapest we could find and had free parking. Didnt go for luxury because we went out everyday and just needed a place to stay. It was pretty close to everything. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but had evrything we needed. Just a typical 3 star really...

Stayed at the Nowra Motor Inn for the Easter long weekend. Hubby and i decided to take the kids away without straining the wallet. Good family environment. BBQ area and kids loved the saltwater pool. Rooms could do with some refurbishment but hey a rooms a room... and for $80 i wasnt complaining!

We stayed at the Nowra Motor Inn in February 2010 as we were heading to Jervis Bay at the last minute and it was the only accomodation left nearby. The sheets were dirty, we could clearly hear every word uttered in the surrounding rooms and yes, it's a motor inn in a small town but is really expensive for a place that clearly hasn't been renovated since the 1960's. The positive? The staff were friendly and courteous. Otherwise, try to avoid this one.

Firstly they gave us a room key & once we dragged all our stuff up there (stairs only) i opened the door to find an unmade bed & peoples belongings in the room.
I went back downstairs - they did their best i guess, but it took a long time, they had no idea what happened, how, who or anything!!
Eventually we were given another key & that room was fine.
They are small rooms, crapp little bathrooms & the whole place needs updating, cleaning, painting - ahhh i could go on.
Yes its cheap, $75 a night - but i'd still go elsewhere!!!

Don't waste your time
