Our fourth visit to Ritual. A tightly managed degustation with a fixed commencement time of 6.30 pm. Located in a small shopping complex five minutes from the centre of Nelson Bay. A truly memorable experience. Carl and Kelie work wonders with food technology and a concept of taste sensations that dictate the structure of the subsequent courses. They have introduced a food wall which facilitates the movement of diners to a wall to select "tasters" in between courses. An innovative approach to helping diners deal with a three and one half hour dining experience and at the same time showcase tasting concepts.
The restaurant only caters for twelve diners to ensure that the experience is not diminished
Current price is circa $150 per head without the suggested flight of wines. With wines it is approx $175.
Our most recent visit was shared with first time friends. They raved about Ritual and it was the highlight of the visit to Port Stephens.
