We were recommended The Boathouse by our Accommodation owner, Sue, from Marty's at Little Beach. We went for an early dinner on Saturday evening with our 3yo and 10 month old.
Our waitress was fantastic and I wish I had remembered her name so I could share with the owners how lovely we thought she was.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had mixed Oysters (that the 3yo ate most of), scallops, swordfish, and Salt and Pepper Squid for our entrees and mains. We were so impressed with the flavours and combinations of all of our dishes. For Dessert we had white chocolate creme brûlée, and the chocolate and vanilla sundae, both were amazing.
The view was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and we found all the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing that we could even remotely criticise is price of the oysters, the oysters are locally sourced but quite a bit more expensive that we pay in even some of the more exclusive restaurants in Sydney. We thought all the either pricing was really quite reasonable, We actually expected it to cost a bit more than it did.
We definitely recommend The Boathouse Restaurant to anyway in the area looking for great food, great view, and a great atmosphere. We will be back!
