Would not return here. Service terrible. Staff I encountered clearly would rather be somewhere else. A guy called Chris on reception lost my reservation - luckily I called before we left Sydney. Didn't seem bothered about my confirmation from booking.com and $600 non-refundable fee. Just repeated my reservation not on his system. Phone on answering machine (11am on weekday) when booking.com rang to sort out. Was only sorted out by booking.com chasing and reconfirming my booking, after 40 minutes of calls in total!! Just the start. My portable wifi didn’t work (bad vodafone coverage in this area). I called reception to see how much Landmark charge for Internet (as advertised, paid only Internet). Was told by a male (perhaps Chris again?) "Wouldn't have a clue. We don't provide it, it comes from an outside company." I questioned that staff should surely know how much they charge for such a basic service? Repeated "Wouldn't have a clue how much it is. We don't do it." Was advised to log on to Internet connection(?), create an account and then find out how much I was to be charged. Unhelpful and rude to boot!
Room furnishings were tired, in need of repair and cleaning. Bathroom fittings dirty and mouldy. Toiletries in (dirty) dispensers on wall. shampoo and soap empty. Bedroom walls paper thin. The second bedroom in 2 bedroom apartment had no windows or natural light, but a strange corridor leading to vented metal door to walkway, could hear everything everyone said while walking to/from and waiting for lifts!
Kitchen also old, tired and tiny hotplate not working. High quality signs warning if kitchen not left exactly as found $35 cleaning fee would be automatically charged. No room service, reception hours limited. front doors close at 9pm.
The view from our room was very good however (though only from some rooms according to other reviewers). On site restaurant ridiculously overpriced, and according to reviews awful food!! Wish I'd read tripadvisor first, there was a reason this was the only place with vacancies for the Australia day weekend!

Had a "penthouse" (simply put, it was on the top floor but it didn't feel very special) 2 bedroom apartment. The place is pretty big (check their website)... yet there is no staff around after 6pm (7pm on Fridays). The main bedroom has absolutely no privacy - it does not have any windows either but is overlooking the living room (which looks out into the window), and it has no door either (it is physically 'separated' from the rest of the apartment by a flight of stairs). The second 'bedroom' was tucked away, no proper windows (there was a window near the ceiling and if you were over 6 feet tall you may have been able to peer through it into the hallway) and no a/c (which was badly needed considering we checked in during one of the hottest days of the year). Oh, and woke up the next morning with no electricity to find the power in the apartment had tripped out. They have built in dispensers in the bathrooms for shampoo/conditioner/bath gel/shave cream but they were mostly empty. Given the price paid for this ($300+ a night = I can get a room at the Shangri La Sydney for this) it was a bit of a joke (on us, I guess), really.

My wife and I had a very nice room on the 4th floor overlooking the township and the bay.

The room was adequate for our needs, however the shower hose had NEVER been cleaned. It was mouldy and in need of being replaced. We did not bother with the spa due to the condition of the shower hose - if that hadn't been cleaned, how good was the spa ?

Because we were high up, the room was breezy and the a/c was not used. The bedroom was ok, but the bed gave myself and my wife a bad backache each morning. There was also nowhere to put our suitcase, except the floor. The lounge room was comfortable and had a good view.

Room Tip: Go for the top floors - view and breezes.

Very disappointing stay. The furnishing were very old and dirty. The carpet was very old and smelly. A tiny kitchen with barely enough room to cook. I asked for a view and was told that all 2 bedroom apartments had views of the golf course or tennis court. Wow our view was the edge of the golf course car park. Not what they advertise. Not a resort and the restaurant AJs which is attached to the hotel was terrible. The food was almost in edible. I will never stay there again. The second bedroom also has no window and the air conditioning was only in the lounge room , not in all.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the bay as the other view is off the golf course car park.

Do not stay at this place. It is not a hotel. It is not even a serviced apartment. It may be a cheap time share that manages to charge outrageous prices. The rooms are basic and unclean. The second bedroom has no window! There is no service whatsoever. If we wanted even an extra towel we would have to go to reception (yes there is a reception but it closes after 7.00pm) and pay an extra couple of dollars. It is an architectural monstrocity sited in a sea of car park. The pool is unsafe and again located within the car park. One air con in living room but none in bedrooms. And you can have all this for over $200 per night!

We stayed here in Nov. 2012 as part of a group of friends having stayed there the year before. We will be booking again for a long weekend this year also. It is in walking distance to the marina and shops and restaurants and bars. Has a good breakfast restaurant attached. Next door is the Golf Club where our men often play golf. They have nice lunches and dinners also at this club. The resort also has a pool. All up good value for money but we booked through Sunseeker holidays which gives us a pretty good deal for 2 nights. Has a small kitchen if you want to make any breakfast or host happy hour.

Room Tip: Nice ones face the pool.

We booked for family room and checked in during 27-30 Dec'12 for. 3 nights. We booked via booking.com and it was not cheap for price over $AU 200. The room is very very old, the kitchen is dirty. floor carpet seem need a change or vacuum. The room was with the view of car parking, not facing the golf course as it was written.

Worse there was no service or change of any clean bed sheet or towels as they said we got the discount rate.

Very disappointed and think should not be recommended in trip advisor or any other webs.
