We had lunch at Peppers and dined on their Lunch special which on bank holidays was $38.50 for 2 courses with a glass of wine. We actually shared starters and pudding so had a taste of all 3 courses. We shared the Mezze plate to start and felt a couple of the dips were bland and would have preferred some soft wraps rather than the dried up tortilla chips and crispbread that was served. The mains were good, they had sold out of the Barramundi but offered the daily fish special as an alternative. The Lamb was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty but more vegetables would have been nice. The chocolate brownie to finish was definately a highlight! The wine was well matched and there's a good selection particularly from the local Hunter Region. Overall we felt it was good value for money but not exceptional quality. The view from our table by the window was lovely and made our visit.
