This is a great place to holiday with children. This facility is surrounded by water, so the kids can either snoorkle around the breakwall, or swim in the pool. They can also swim in the secluded beach or swim out to the pontoon in the lagoon. They have just renovated the BBQ area and playground. There is a lovely Pub at the entrance for a great dinner.

Room Tip: The Cabins at the back of the facility are just as quiet as the tent areas.

We checked in here for one night on our way north and although Wotif showed no vacancy when I rang on approach the friendly staff said they did have availability and the suggested we come and take a look. We weren't disappointed.

A fantastic seaside location which offers a great spot for swimming and canoeing for adults and kids. I can imagine spending a few days here just relaxing and never having to leave the place.

We booked a two bedroom place which was bigger than a basic cabin, very clean and in good condition - nothing flash though, the shower is very small and the lounges weren't very comfy but otherwise it did the job perfectly.

It had a great pool with a slide - my girls were in it 5 minutes after we arrived! It has a takeaway/shop, games room and a tavern on site. All you could want if you are looking to stop for one night and ideal if you are there a few days. The town centre is so close too of you need it or want a change of scenery...I can't imagine why.

It is a beautiful place...wouldn't mind spending a few days here sometime. Great for families with young kids.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed in the deluxe cabins, which are two bedrooms and are very clean & comfortable, fit my family of 5 perfect. This park is so well kept, from the beautiful gardens to the lovely pool. I would recommend this park to anyone. I have booked another 7 nights next January.

We stayed 7 nights in a deluxe cabin. It was our second time at the white albatross. The kids played cricket on the grass in front of the cabin next to the lagoon. The pool and it's waterslide was a hit too. I did water aerobics two mornings at no extra cost. The v-wall tavern is next door and has a handy takeaway. The cabin is very comfortable and has a lovely view of the river meets the ocean. The river was so blue and clear during this visit.

We stayed in our camper trailer on a powered waterfront site. This van park is well located and very well maintained.

The waterfront sites are actually on the edge of a tidal lagoon, situated behind the ocean breakwall. The lagoon is a great place to swim and play and if your kids have a canoe or kayak they will have a ball. There is always plenty of water in the lagoon, even at low tide.

The grounds and amenities were spotless and maintained well, as was the pool.

This place has the best fish cleaning area I have ever seen, a fully tilled room and filleting bench makes the job easy,

There is a wonderful camp kitchen that is very new and modern, would have to be one of the best camp kitchens I have seen.

There is a bar and restaurant at the entrance to the park if you do not feel like cooking.

If you want to stay in a cabin, the waterfront ones looked very good and very new.

Only downside would be the volume of permanents in old vans or crammed together in relocatable homes.

We stayed 2 nights on a ensuite site which was great - although they are fairly close to the amenities anyway. Very good for families!!Pool was fantastic!! Kids loved the slide and the little toddlers loved the waterpark.
Our family who also stayed at the park stayed in a waterfront cabin which they found O.K, but quite basic. Great spot to watch kids play in lagoon but was very weedy. There were 2 dead cockroaches in the kettle and the bathroom was tiny ( they came and used our ensuite site).
Also camp kitchen didnt open until 8am which was a little late for us. We used the barbeques instead, but would have liked to use the kettle and toaster a little earlier!
Great location though!!
