We dined here for dinner with a family group of 14 people, on 14.9.13. We chose this restaurant as we were told it was a beautiful location with great food. We were not at all disappointed with the amazing location, however we were disappointed with the quality of the meals. Overall the meals were small and both meals and service were not at all on par with the pricing. For example, those of us who ordered salmon were served with a dry piece of salmon (approx 60x40x25mm)at least half the size described by our waitress when ordered, and served with a drizzle of salad and dressing. The starters of sour dough and antipasto were small, very dry and served with just olives and pastrami.
One of our entrees was sized and priced as a main. We were unable to bring our own birthday cake, but they were happy to make a cake to order and charge us $8.50 per head. They were not prepared to split the bill, and though many restaurants have similar policies, it presented difficulties for us as we were such a large group and it was an isolated location with no teller machines within a 15 min radius. Despite booking ahead our group was split and placed on two seperate tables and staff had to consult with management before begrudgingly moving the tables together (our tables were on a verandah and moving them did not affect any other diners). Perhaps a devonshire tea during the day would be preferrable if planning to visit this restaurant, as their scones (ordered for desert) were amazing).
