What a lovely place to stay.

The gentleman on reception (I think the owner) was very helpful and pleasant and showed me around the motel in case I was late getting back from dinner.

The motel is welcoming with beautifully maintained gardens.

Our room (#6) was absolutely spotless and very very comfortable. We had a twin room and both beds offered lovely big pillows and wonderfully comfy beds.

The bathroom was very clean and offererd everthing we could have needed.

Our room also had a sliding door leading out to a shared courtyard area and the minibar facilities were great.

Breakfast in the morning is either a cold buffet $14 or all of the plus hot food for $22 was very good - loads of things to choose from and was served quickly.

If I need to stay in the area again - I will stay here.

The weather was foul but the welcome was very warm. Manager was very helpful & courteous.
Room 20 was on the upper level and was very clean and modern.
Bathroom was large and spotless.
Noise from main drag was minimal and was very quiet after 11pm.
Our deal did not include breakfast but the other guests I spoke to said the breakfasts were great.
One thing that did puzzle me was the the GPO's (power outlets) were installed upside down, which meant when you thought the power was on it was off and vice versa. On the whole 9/10

We loved reading your review. Thank you. You noticed our 'qwerky' power points on the desk top and sorry if there was an inconvenience. They were inverted after many requests from guests so chargers could be plugged in to recharge mobiles, laptops, ipads etc.
We hope to see you again when you need a 'Weekend Getaway'.

We stayed overnight in this country motel on a sunday night and enjoyed the facilities. The room was larger than expected and well furnished. We chose a room overlooking the back to avoid the noise of the trasffic in front. The room was clean and the bed was just soft enough. he bathroom facilities were also satisfactory. We would happily return.

Stayed here 2 nights as a part of exploring southern highlands. We chosed Mittagong as our base since the Jervis bay area was booked full well advance for the NY holiday season. This hotel is about 1.5 hours drive to Jervis bay area (via Kangaroo valley which is a real scenic drive).

Few very nice Italian restaurants walking distance from the Hotel.

Room itself was very clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi.

We did not try the breakfast - there are plenty options to choose also in Mittagong town area.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, once they learned that we are heading to Jervis bay for the day, we immediately received a bundle of information and also a discount voucher to be used for a local boat trip in Jervis.

Free car parking downstairs - if you have lot of luggage and staying on upper floor, it's bit of kerfuffle as there is no elevator so do ask a room in the ground floor if this is problem. Anyhow it's only 2-storey hotel.

This hotel is a good choice when you are having a road trip and wish to explore Kangaroo Valley - Moss Vale - Jervis Bay area, but also gives you a very good value place to stay. This hotel was our last stop before heading to Sydney airport which was about 1hour drive away.

Room Tip: Ask a room not facing to street. If lot of luggage, ask a ground floor room.

Well located, and clean.
No evening meals served, only breakfast.
Town centre was just a 5 min walk away, so no big problem.

I was a bit concerned when I moved a bedside table to plug in a phone charger.
The extension lead that was plugged into the socket was last tested 5 years ago.
Not a big problem if the lead continues to work, but I does make you wonder what else is not up to spec in the Motel?

Room Tip: Not room 17, unless the tagging has been done now. It is on the main road side of the building and...

This was our second stay at this motel. The first time, our room faced the rear of the hotel, and was very quiet. This time our room faced the main street, but we were not disturbed by the weekend traffic. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed, including mini bar and an in-room safe. The undercover parking was also a plus. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The motel restaurant serves breakfast only, but there are many restaurants nearby for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel are much quieter.
