We've been here twice now in the spring holidays and have enjoyed it both times. BBQ areas squeaky clean, pool clean (if freezing - PLEASE put heating in). Very safe for the children who have to have a bike licence for riding round - a great way for them to know the rules. Short distance to the beach and Cranky's cafe, which serves great coffee. Accommodation good - management responded to our kitchen-replacement requests promptly and without fuss. Lovely people to deal with too; very helpful. Not the cheapest place to stay - but worth it.

Room Tip: Splash out and get an elevated villa - make sure you choose one with a bigger verandah

Thanks for your positive comments,in regards to pool temperature. The pools are solar heated so unfortunately if it is an overcast day the pool temperature drops. We have had pool temperatures up to 31 degrees this week ,which is ideal.

Initially looking at a brief break, ended up splurging and taking 2 families away to the lovely Merimbula. They offered us a excellent rate as the season was beginning to wane, and the fun factor was THERE. Kids loved the place - pool was a lot of fun, and the area is always fun to go to - which I enjoy anyway.
I thoroughly recommend it. Went for the 2nd best level (cabins) avoiding the cramping of the little cabins, and went for something more upmarket, without breaking the bank.

Room Tip: Pool was awesome, but picking the season is important - cold winds from the south can really put a s...

This was our second stay in the elevated 2 bedroom villa. The villa is spacious, clean and comes with cooking and laundry facilities, a must with small children. There's a lovely deck to sit out on and relax with the birds (lorikeets) dropping in for some seeds - the kids loved to feed them.

The park itself is within walking distance of the township and across from the swimming beach. There are three different types of pools - one with waterslides, one for everyone and another childrens pool - which are in the same area. My boys loved the idea of a 'bike licence'. It was safe for them to ride around the park with the other children.

I like how the park isn't 'massive' compared to some others close by.

My boys keep asking me when are we going back!

We have been coming to Tween Waters for around ten years now and have watched our family mature and change whilst still enjoying the facilities at this resort. When we had a young family, the pool was a huge drawcard - lots of fun, but very safe. There were also many cricket games played with the other families in the grounds and very serious competitions on the tennis court! They made lots of friends, especially at the planned events organised by the staff of the resort. As our children grew older, they really began to appreciate the positioning of Tween Waters - they could roll out of bed virtually onto the beach, with minimal effort; they could easily walk into town and return home again without having to climb any "ridiculous sized" hills - all very important to teenagers! Also, Main Beach is very popular with the teenage crowd - again hugely important to have such easy access!
We always stay in the Ocean Front Spa Villas. The facilities have always been kept clean and well presented. The rooms are not hugely spacious, but perfectly adequate with all the facilities that you need, especially the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher - again a must for teenagers! Have always loved the balcony with a view out toward the beach - this has been a favourite spot of ours for many meals and post-dinner drinks.
Our family is maturing and we are facing the prospect of summer holidaying alone in the near future, with no children, but we will continue to return to Tween Waters. The resort is always full when we are there, but is small enough for this never to cause a problem. We enjoy the great position and the facilities too much - the easy walk into town with the shops and cafes, coupled with being next to the beach is really hard to beat. The owners have always made our stay welcoming and comfortable. We would highly recommend this resort.

If visiting Merimbula and you are carvanning - this is the place to stay. Night time was very quiet and guaranteed a restful night's sleep.
There are concrete pads for your van and Annex - Very clean amenities including toilets, showers, laundry, camp kitchen and games room. The lawns are neat. There is a pool bit in winter a bit cold so we did not use it :-)
The free AUSTAR connection provided was great.
The rainbow lorekeets where very entertaining and friendly each afternoon.

We will definitely stay there next time in the area. :-)

Room Tip: Book early
