Great to feed the fish. Don't forget your $1 coins as food i dispensed to ensure fish are fed correct proportions .

“Loved feeding the fish”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

What a lovely beach - most of the time we were the only ones on it. The girls loved feeding the fish - couldn't believe how many there were.

“Please don't feed the fish bread”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

I spent 1 month studying the fish at Neds Beach for university. If you are thinking of feeding the fish please don't. This fish had cancerous growths on their bodies, liver cancer, stomach ulcers and malnutrition from being handfed foods such as bread. Touching the fish removes the mucus covering the fishes body, resulting in bacterial infections.
Feeding the fish also causes abnormal behavior of the fish and excess nutrients from the food promote algae growth, which kills the beautiful coral.
Neds Beach is one of the most beautiful places in the world. If you feel an uncontrollable desire to feed the fish please use the approved fish pellets provided.
Thank you and enjoy this beautiful place.

“So many fish”

The fish were so tame and it was a wonderful opportunity to interact with nature on this level. There was no fear ;)
